This is a wonderful song. It only saddens me that Combeferre doesn't have his own song in the musical-I'm doing Les Misérables right now at a University and I am playing, amongst others, Combeferre. With the help of works such as these, however, I have become the "star" student as my director has called me. Thank you for such a lovely song.

Wow! That was wonderful. It rhymed nicely, and, I agree with Framboise, it sounds very much like something Combeferre would say.

I've always liked this one. Especially "you are innocents/at least for this one night" - so very Combeferrian.

Very nicely done. I particularly liked the second stanza. The rhyme was very good, and the rhythm flowed well. The third and fourth verses of the last stanza are a bit awkward, but I'm still very impressed with the poem.
