what i love about Holy is that it's kind of John-centered. as a John stan, the lack of his presence in the original manga was killing me lmao. So i always appreciate more John! though, Holy is still the most emotionally taxing, because misunderstandings, misunderstandings.

And for real you almost, almost had me with the JohnMai brain rot (got me thinking, "maybe in an alternate universe, JohnMai with friends-to-lovers trope..." lol), the one bit you said about John viewing Mai as 'holy', it is brilliant. And i do think their friendship is beautiful
