Unfortunately, this reminds me of the infamous Goblet of Fire problem.
How can Harry be bound to a magical contract that he neither knows anything about, nor entered into by will, word or action?
This is the kind of plot hole that is both unreasonable and illogical.
Geralt was desperate about Ciri, and entered into the contract willingly; even if he didn't truly understand the nature of the deal. The same cannot be said about Harry.
