Mysterious basement secrets to be revealed!
vm232129 chapter 25 . 8/5/2022
Well that road trip turned tense all of a sudden!
vm232129 chapter 22 . 8/3/2022
Aw, glad she’s finally feeling better. And after that not dinner, quite a lot better I imagine!
vm232129 chapter 21 . 8/2/2022
Aw, poor Christine indeed! Thankfully I’ve never been seasick, so not sure how long it lasts after things start to calm, but that seemed like quite the rough ride! Perhaps her panic worked against her and ratcheted it all up a few notches.
vm232129 chapter 20 . 8/1/2022
Black silk PJs, yes! Storm brought seasickness, no. Glad she had a nice day and felt better about her choice before turning green!
vm232129 chapter 17 . 7/28/2022
Touché!
vm232129 chapter 16 . 7/27/2022
Quite a rash decision on the basis of an unread letter. Meg and her mom are going to be so mad! Bon voyage, but what mystery destination awaits? You’ve described an amazing room. Sounds nicer than my house!
vm232129 chapter 14 . 7/25/2022
Mm, ‘dark goddess of the night’ but he’ll still want you, Christine. Also liked ‘that sound of velvet heat.’
vm232129 chapter 13 . 7/24/2022
Oh my!
vm232129 chapter 12 . 7/22/2022
“The two of them had survived several uncomfortable moments without either of them fleeing the room…” tee hee hee. Too bad she never got her dessert! I did enjoy the imagery of Erik’s cloak fluttering like bat wings.
vm232129 chapter 11 . 7/21/2022
A night to remember, indeed! And a certain other opera had well be on her mind as she’s dressed in finery and jewels that were left for her to find just as Marguerite in Faust. Glad he came to enjoy the show with her!
vm232129 chapter 10 . 7/20/2022
I wonder where he hid. Back on the balcony? And Christine! Never take a nap without setting an alarm when you have a date! Onward to NYC!
vm232129 chapter 9 . 7/19/2022
Wonder what was so urgent he disappeared without a note? She’s trying so hard to take care of him but he’s not used to considering others and their feelings. A little communication goes a long way.
vm232129 chapter 7 . 7/17/2022
That’s a pretty extreme reaction. The part about traveling across an ocean because he didn’t like what he overheard on a phone call. Not the rapid leap from sleep to murderous intent, because that we all expect from Erik. I liked Christine’s attempt to explain who he is to her as compared to a boyfriend in her mental description while shopping for him in Target.
vm232129 chapter 6 . 7/14/2022
Interesting take on the red scarf incident. Hmm, would she rather party with her friends or engage in a long-distance battle of wits via text?
