This was a blast to read! I truly enjoyed your EU references because while I’ve read a ton of SW novels and comics, I became utterly fascinated by the prequel era and have yet to really dive into Luke and Leia’s stories. I’ve read a few of them, like Leia: Princess of Alderaan and Heir to the Empire, but I have a long way to go. These explanations and your depiction of Mara Jade makes me want to go read them. Mara Jade seems to be a fun, unique, and at times tragic character in the brief glimpses I’ve had of her. Yet, this fan fic on its own had surely made me much, much more invested in her story. I was sad that Luke never called Padmé “mother” after he met her, unlike he did with Ani, until he wrote the letter. However, you have inspired me to consider writing something with these characters, including Ventress, Cad Bane, Ahsoka, Mace Windu, V. Che, and our favorites. Thank you!

I came back to this story for a bit of a pick me up.

I’m about to become a dad, and all the emotions are hitting.

As far as writing Mara as being weak, I submit their is two types of strength.. Mara strikes me as having more inner strength!

This was really good. if you love the books and their storyline then this is a good story for you. I wouldn't suggest it if you don't have at least some basic knowledge of the extended universe. It is a good fix it and though is a very wordy story it was well written and an enjoyable read.

Food for thought, if the Jedi believed that attachments as in getting married, falling in love and having kids is of the Dark Side, then none of those foolish Jedi should have never been born. Since being born is of the Dark Side... Can you say hypocrites...
