i can't really understand what drives the MC when all he has and uses is power. But the surroundings make him suffer. He's not prideful (would've sent Rias far-far away, together with her brother, Serafall and everyone else for screwing up with him), not lustful (his harem is in name only, and he even sticks to Rias and not going all out with his peerage girls even though they want it), not greedy (only if power). The first thing I was like WTF?! is when he decided to enact that plan of his with the holy swords. I mean why does he care? He could've even returned the gem back to Issei and given him Rias right away so that they'd just go and be the 'meat-shields' and rule out the crisis by themselves. But he went and taken the attention. Really?!

Rias isn't worth it at all. Yea, really beautiful but then MC doesn't feel love towards her (he doesn't really feel love to pretty much anyone as far as the relationships go).

MC is scheming just for fun it seems and gets his arse handled again and again. Come on, author, wtf.

MC is being pushed around despite all his strengths - he's like a lab rat with all those test around.

In a way I feel relieved that this fic ends. This MC shoul've just left everyone to their own devices and just levelled up alone in some faraway place and lived in there. His relationships shouldn't have hold him in place as they're almost non-existant.

the plot gets less and less interesting. And Ophis is doing whatever, entertaining herself with the sufferings of her pawns from both sides of the conflict. Kuroka's annoying, MC is... whatever. Relationships between pretty much everyone are more like annoying - no warmth, only politics, plans, a bit of friendships and even family matters aren't pure enough. And too stuck with others' PoV-s. You've made the MC someone as a scheming pawn, wishing for promotion under his master, his affections are existing but at the same time mostly only on paper - too few interactions between him and his close ones (though that closeness is also under question - pretty much like Sirzechs, who can let them suffer to gain his points). And you even go to describe the other char's affections while forgetting about MC.

Also I don't think that the "experience war" part is good enough to take over the protection of the meeting and enroll his own peerage as guards. And in the end it backfired a lot. I don't really understand this reasoning.
And fighting the Ophis' other pawns... like really? Why go for it? If Ophis wants them, she gives them power like to the MC himself.
And as far as I noticed he doesn't (or shouldn't) care about Rias so why fussing over it? If Sirzechs protects her - alright, and there's all those others around. I mean wtf is up with that plan? And he even thought everything'll go the same route as in canon - and that's after he's messed it up that much? Ask Kokabiel to guard Gasper just in case.

messy. MC has failed, boosting Issei to rule everything out, the Maous and angels are once again sightseeing the gladiators cuz "why care", the city's in ruins and MC shouldn't really expect that his girls weren't in some random house nearby.
Could've been nicer in here for Issei to just do suicide to let Vali know that he doesn't need to touch his parents just to get at him.

Serafall really doesn't feel like a girlfriend material.

I kinda dislike this Serafall, though there's no love towards almost every character of your story - Serafall is more like just the aversion-type

and too much text with the uncertain characters and plans and reasons in action - too much vague can stop curiosity and start being tedious and annoying.

a sad lose for Rias

Good god I'm so confused about this story.

On one hand its quite good actually. I enjoy the fact that you went with a reincarnated Riser, it's nice and fresh and all that good jazz, but fuck bro, your constant reliance of monolouging the goddamn day away is ruining this story entirely.

That and Riser's constant scheming.

Fuck man, have you ever heard of the frase "show don't tell"? I think you could really learn something from that little sentence. And where is the Humor? I thought this was supposedly tagged as a Parody, so where is the Humor? Where is the Harem? Where is the fanservice? Isn't this a DxD fic?

So yes relativley good story, but it could've been a whole lot better without the meniacal monolouging, the dark and twisted scheming, a lot better.

Those two things were what made me give up on this in the end.

I love your story. especially the parts where you get introspective? epic? when you try to instill a sense of awe in your reader like when you described kansho or any of the "political fights" like with sirzechs.

No, seriously, what? Why is he just going along and trying to recreate how it played out? He's literally just thinking with his dick no matter the bullshit excuses thought up. He said it himself earlier, real power is what is respected. This story was interesting at first, but it's just turning into a disappointment. Honestly, he also said it best, he's a worse Riser.
