I don't mind waiting for a new chapter even if it's over a year. On one hand I can't wait to see what happens next and on the other hand if it's been a while it gives me an excuse (not that I need one) to reread the story.

As I'm sure others have mentioned, we Brits call them aubergines too. My local supermarket has a section labelled 'courgettes and aubergines' on the website, for the avoidance of doubt about 'zucchini' too. Shame they don't supply phoenixes.
