Damn there are some moments towards the end that straight up put me on the verge of tears. Very well written!

I love this? In the show I wasn’t quite clear on if the Gaang knew about what happened to Zuko but it’s rough. I love reading Zuko bonding with literally any parental figure and them talking shit about Ozai’s A parenting. Thank you so much for writing this!

Everything about this was beautiful but the one part that gave me the most chills was this:
"From Sozin to Azulon to Ozai to..." and then Hakoda intervenes, which eventually leads to "From Roku to Rina to Ursa to Zuko."
It shows so much and tells so much in so little words. That Zuko had the chance to change and has already proven that he took that chance. That he no longer needs to bound himself to what he considered his past, a part of the past that was so intregated to his identity up until then that he forgot that he still had humanity that was embedded in his genes. Ahhhhhh! This explanation isn't even good enough. But those 2 quotes are amazing. You, my friend, have a done an incredible job, and this story you've made means more to me than you'll ever know. This was incredible! I loved it! Everything came across as so natural and nothing seemed forced. I really like how blunt Hakoda was without being outwardly rude. Your writing style is phenomenal!
