Despising betrayal is the core defining character trait of literally all three of your main characters. Why are you so obsessed with having them respond to betrayal in such ridiculously passive ways?

Harry just lets Hermione and Luna gaslight him into taking the blame for their infidelity - something that is ENTIRELY their own fault. He is not responsible for their infidelity in any way shape and or form. Hermione and Luna respond to a woman raping their husband and impregnating herself by protecting her and said child? Why?

Typical cheaters. Blaming their partners for their own infidelity.

If you were truly being realistic, Hermione's infidelity and Luna's defense of her infidelity would've been met with the end of their relationship with Harry - followed shortly by hellfire and brimstone.

Harry's whole thing, especially your version of Harry, is someone who despises betrayal. He's had several passionate speeches - just in this story - about his hatred for betrayal. And he just rolls over and accepts this bullshit? That's not realistic.

Granted, the cheating happening at all isn't realistic, either.

This is an amazing chapter. You truly write like a novelist. I wish I knew anything at all about Worm so I could enjoy your other works.

Okay. Why did you nerf the girls (all of the sudden they basically are useless without wands?) and harry (all of the sudden he is pants at magic like extension charms after excelling in all newts?)

You're damn right this isn't a popular chapter. There's a difference between a story having realistic relationship stakes, and trying to justify someone cheating.

That does clear things up. And, I really love how you handled this story. So many authors make their characters more and more powerful without some kind of equalizing force on the other side. Or they make the bad guys more and more powerful to keep up. Some times they go the other way and have super strong bad guys, and their good guys have to play catch up. In this story, not only did you have the good and bad guys gaining more and more power... you had the good guys holding themselves in check with morals, drive, and so forth. Absolutely amazing story. Thank you for writing it, and again for posting it here for us to read.

I'm assuming that they were posted together given how confusing this chapter was. I'm... rather lost.

The end of this chapter, yet again managed to give me chills. This is going to be a beast of an ending to what was a fantastic story arc.
