Awesome story continue please.

This seems like a really interesting story, I was worried when you made James the Joker but you've made it interesting and suspenseful. I hope you continue this plot line.

And Joker having magic and obviously being revealed as James ends the story for me.

The idea has two major problems, one is linked to this story and the other is a general problem many crossovers have.

1 - Lily found a spell/ritual that requires someone to give their life for another in order for the second to survive the AK. This is specifically explained by Lily and how is how she kills James. No amount of creative jiggling makes it okay for this to be completely ignored just for an "aha! Drama!" moment.

2 - Many crossovers have an issue where they go far too overboard with the cross. It becomes an Everyone Is Related to Everyone Else cliche. Cross it with Marvel and everyone is related to mutants or is secretly one. Cross with where there are other species (devils, angels, magical creatures) and everyone is secretly a non-human, has a non-human in the family or history with major factions. It's overdone and ruins a good story.

The thing is, James being turned into the Joker by something Dumbledore did isn't a bad idea. Nor is it a bad idea if it's in the same story as Lily Ivy. But when you specifically state that the only way Harry survived was through James' death and now make it so that James is alive, it creates problems. Oh sure, there can be ways around it to make sure the ritual worked while James didn't really die but that adds more work and more complexity in an area (Harry's complicated parentage and the machinations of Dumbledore) that doesn't need it.

Less is More.

Harry's very much just along for the ride in this story. It's understandable but a little disappointing considering the shortness of the chapters. I definitely wasn't happy over Sirius and Remus' joint attitude about James' death. I don't expect them to be happy over what Lily did but it would have been nice for at least Remus to have -some- sympathy for Lily's side.

Hell, even Tonks was all "I'm an Auror so I can't agree with what you did" when she should be fully aware that someone would happily do the same to her just for the fact she's a Meta. While Ivy is harsh and an obvious criminal, everyone's reactions seem to be focused on making sure there's a clear divide between her new and old life.

That ending makes no sense. Harry having a blowup is expected and I would have believed it to have come from learning that his friends were betraying him, but to have it come from reading the Prophet? A newspaper he knows is out to get him? No, it comes across as more along the lines of needing the blowup to happen now rather than later.

Hmmm, very screwed up story but at the same a good read. I look forward to the next chapter.

Joker has Magic - I assume its him - we are all DOOMED!

Uh well i realize nymph can lead to snickers about Nymphomaniac but Nymphadora actually roughly translates to "Gift of the Nymphs", and nymphs to most Westerners are a type of elf (which is actually wrong, Nymphs are sea dwellers whille Elves are typically woodland dwellers but i digress) so Nym's name can also translate to "Gift of the Elves". Those 2 meanings were JK's intended translation for Nym's name

Holy hell, I almost thought this was an episode of Days of Our Lives with all the drama lol.
I love the realism though. It makes the characters so real. Well done
