You know, I thought you'd already finished. And I think Jody was 15 in 2016 (she was definitely eleven in 2012, although I always put her birthday as being days before she arrived). But anyway, it's a good story and I hope to see more like this. Hopefully it won't take a year to finish.

By the way, I'm thinking of doing a sequel to one of my other stories that I wrote quite a long time ago. Let me give you a clue; the villain practically steals the whole story.

While I could get annoyed at the death of Ryan, it is impossible. If it wasn't written as well, yes. I would be annoyed, angry and disappointed. And dissatisfied. But the quality of the scene, and indeed just your writing in general, means I feel nothing but the deepest sadness and sympathy in connection with Ryan's death. (That was basically the articulated version of my tears of saaaaaadness because wow that was sad!) Very well written chapter and I'm looking forward to the next one. I hope Bailey and Jody make it out alive!
