Cecil Pierce chapter 1 . 3/22/2016
Nooooo so saddd :(
jensteed chapter 1 . 7/6/2014
Aw why does he always have to do the most foolishly (and mistakenly) noble things? Poor Severus, can you not just be happy :'(
MadBrilliant1880 chapter 1 . 2/5/2008
sounds exactly how he would break up with someone!
Rickmanlover24601 chapter 1 . 8/3/2006
"...trying to find my missing pieces." That is one of the most singular best turns of phrase ever. I'm serious. You come up with the most amazing stuff.

But poor Hermione would be soo broken inside. She doesn't care that Sev's a wreck, she loves him anyway. :( I wish he could see that...but I know that in reality, if Sev ever did let her know he loves her, it wouldn't last long since he has such a low opinion of what he can bring to the table for her.

Great characterization and I love how Severus doesn't believe it's better that way either. My advice is to turn around and admit you didn't mean it. Heh.

Nicely done. *sniff*
NerdExtremist chapter 1 . 7/20/2004
*tears* romantic but heart breaking
Droxy chapter 1 . 6/14/2004
oh my, that is so sad and heartbreaking. Tragic romance...
Enchantressofthestars chapter 1 . 2/14/2004
Luna Writer chapter 1 . 2/23/2003
that is so sad.
Almost Believing chapter 1 . 2/5/2003
Did the challenge myself!

I like this one, very good!

I really like this line:

"but you should not have to spend a life trying to find my missing pieces."
Strega Brava chapter 1 . 1/29/2003
Noctivague chapter 1 . 1/28/2003

Your story is pretty sad... And beautiful, in its way. Poor Hermione, to be left and called 'silly girl' by the man that she loves...

I've written an answer to this challenge too, but it's terrible, since I've just copied almost 75% of the words from a song! :) I'm a lazy girl... And I also like this song. Nobody has reviewed it yet, so it must be REALLY terrible, but if you could risk...

Werecat99 chapter 1 . 1/28/2003
So far it's good. I suppose there's more?
