This was, in a word, phenomenal. I’m not sure how I stumbled across this masterpiece, but am thrilled that I did. Your writing style is beautiful and I felt truly invested in this story and the characters. They felt so real. Thank you for this.

Phenomenal...

A truly exhilarating story...

A re-read and still remains one of the most tremendous stories I’ve ever read.

I just finished this beautiful masterpiece and am stunned. I am now itching for more of this world and the characters and am hoping to see more of Theo/Harry in their spin-off that was mentioned. I don’t know if I could handle that for my heart would probably be broken but it would be worth it. I’m not sure if that is still happening since it’s been awhile since this was written and when I looked at your other stores I didn’t see anything that looked like it could be that. So fingers crossed it’s still happening!

Now, for the rest of my thoughts. I loved your writing and the style. It was beautiful and each word had to be savored and processed before moving on. I’ve never read a story quite like this and I’ve read a lot of fanfic over the years. The way the story telling and plot was weaved into the fairytales was so original. It was a journey in itself to read those and try to put together the pieces of everything as it happened.

Each of your characters felt real. I love when we see more of the Slytherins and get to know more about them. I’d love to know more about Pansy/Paul and see how the rest of the relationships go too. I’m comforted that Draco and Hermione got their HEA after fighting so hard but would love more of everyone else.

I’ve also never quite seen a Luna and Ginny like this. I always wondered why Ginny wasn’t affected more by what happened with the Diary and this was a wonderful, yet tragic, way to do that. That’s a first I’ve ever seen that. The things he had her do…just awful. Poor Bill that scene broke me.

Your Luna was stunning too. She wasn’t just “looney” but quite brilliant and smart too. Her organization and just everything she did to help was so nice to read. I loved your portrayal of her and would’ve loved to see more. She and Ginny had something special with their friendship. I’d have loved to seen what the memories where in the pensive That were shared.

Also, I loved the idea of the castle being alive/sentient. That is something I rarely see and I loved that. The castle just by itself has always held a special place to me and to see it injured and fighting back and just the way the feelings were described just hit me like nothing else. It was as if my own home was under attack. Beautiful! Draco’s house also being sentient was also amusing.

I’m off to go pick my next story of yours to read next. I think I’ll start from the bottom and go up. Until next time!

I thought nearly all of the relationships were extremely engaging. I’ve never seen a fanfic with such interesting relationship dynamics. I especially loved your rendition of Theo and Harry (on their own and as a pairing).

Personally, the Hermione/Draco pairing in this fic didn’t do it for me. Their relationship was boring and one-note compared to everyone else’s.

I found the constant Hermione storytelling tedious to read and it made it hard to push through the first several chapters. I thought the action and character dialogue was so much more enjoyable. I know the entire fic revolves around Hermione’s stories but it was a hard selling point for me when so many other aspects of the story were delivered so well. But I can certainly appreciate the unique approach.

You weren’t afraid to kill your characters and I really respect that! I would love to see you play with other pairings in the future if you haven’t already.
