i guess mild incest is just a bridge too far for me

I really like this story. The plot is unusual and the characters are well done.

One kindly meant constructive comment is that I find your character's off-topic ruminations distracting when they occur in the middle of a scene. For example in this chapter when Harry is midst fight and takes a break to plan his next attack against the greedy goblins. Now maybe Harry's attention can be split simultaneously, but as a reader, I find need to track back to see what's really going on. Perhaps you could slip these background thoughts in as a character plans for an event or looks back on something.

I enjoyed this story as a whole, but you went to extreme detail about the process of interviewing Dumbledore, but there were no reprocussions. We didn't get any details, but all those oaths! There are all the details of death and destruction at Hogwarts, but then Harry is fine and back at his house. The details are needed of how he got there! What was going on with his cousin who went insane all of the sudden. Henrietta killed a bunch of kids! And Madame Pomphrey? How is she not legally tried? Is the whole thing just forgotten? I know she tried to spin it as DE activity, but where was Harry found? The whole plot of her completely loosing her mind and trying to kill her head of house is glossed over, she's locked up in the basement and then married off? Why is she not in prison for killing all those people and destroying a castle? Her mom is upset because she gets a slap on the wrist and married off. She holds a lifetime grudge? They have serious blackmail on her! She should be in prison for life! The whole family covers for her multiple murders like her behavior is totally okay, but she can't influence Harry any more. And don't get me started on the jerk Harry turns into. I think he is supposed to be confident and ooze power, but he is a jerk! You keep talking about his sex appeal, but it is hard to see it. He has power and abuses it terribly. He acts like a gangster! He gives his cousin the right to try to kill him, take over the family, murder a bunch of school kids and teachers and is barely upset, but Hermione says anything intelligent and he flies off the handle! They go from a first kiss, kiss a few more times, never go on a date or spend any time together as she is taking lessons with Mauve and Harry is off doing head of house stuff, to she is a teenage pregnancy statistic? How? This is a first relationship for both of them. They just jumped into a sexual relationship with zero relationship development? Harry is potioned up and using time magic for everything but his girlfriend. They haven't really seen each other! He's too tired to function and she's suddenly pregnant? There isn't even any illusion that they have gotten past a few sneaked kisses and some hand holding? While Harry is all gangsta and she's turning into a yes woman and trying to find her spot in his life. The most relationship development we see is that they make a good team in court? I think I'm taking this all too seriously. The plot holes are just getting to me.
