Are we supposed to be seeing Harry as the evil new Light Lord b/c that's how this is playing out...

Harry...is a jackass. An ill-mannered, rude, "listen to me because I'm super-speshel" jackass at that.

It never was made very clear how Harry was rescued from the people who stole him out of Hogwarts. It is also very clear that Harry couldn't care less about Hermione or her opinions.

Hermione unfortunately has lost who she is because Harry is pretty. Very disappointed in both characters.

ok I just binged this story and I have to say it's afaik a truly unique take on the lord potter trope. and I brilliant way too. I really enjoyed it.

Sadly, the writer of this story really, REALLY needs to work on writing...romance. Harry just KEEPS being a jerkoff to Hermione - he just keeps it up! And yet he expects her to adore him anyway? He's an egotistical jackass to her. Normally I'm totally H/Hr but I think in this instance Hermione would be far, far better off with Neville. He at least seems to care about her and doesn't actively work to hurt her feelings like Harry does.

I would ask why Poppy was offed but considering she was in cahoots with Albus' brain-rape plans...

Well, given how Harry tends to treat Hermione now, it's no wonder she feels more comfy with Neville.

the author doesn't seem to like Hermione much and treats her like JKR treated Ginny in canon.
still, it's integrating.

I'm always long for H/Hr so maybe I'm a bit bias in favor for them! If someone say there's spark between Harry and Herriette, i'm sorry to disagree. There's some sort of love elsewhere but it can't overcome the thirst for power of Herriette. Her main purpose was always for the power, the lordship, not Harry. Hermione main goal was always Harry' benefits. It's sad that their sceen together was so short
