Every time this story updates I get little sparkles of excitement! Very good chapter, as always, though with the lives of the authors I follow recently, when you blamed your dog for the delay, I fully expected the worst. Very glad it wasn't!

The story is not dead! I am curious though, have you ever thought of making a story for a reformed Chara? As in one that had all of her level 99999999... stats other such abilities? I found a a great one that involves Frisk and Chara that made up somehow getting transported into my hero Academia. Where they get adopted as bakugo's sister. It is amazing but unfortunately it seems like it's been abandoned. Anyways glad to see you're not dead. And keep up the amazing work.

When will you update?

This will probably end up a bit rambly, but here goes:
A couple years ago, when I was still in highschool, I found myself regularly staying up until 3 and 4 AM reading fanfiction. I was too shy to make an account, but still found myself mentally stocking up on several favorite fics. This is one of them.
I would tune in every couple months to see if the fic had updated, but without follow notifications it was hard to keep that up, and I eventually fell off the wagon.
I've now entered a fanfiction renaissance of sorts, and wanted to look back on some of my old faves. Some did not stand the test of time, but some were still very enjoyable, and I'm pleased to say that your story still very much holds up.
Frankly, I had expected it to not have updated much since I'd last checked in: it had been around two years, after all, and most authors would have lost interest. I cannot express how excited I was to find out that not only had it been updating this whole time, but the most recent chapter was published less than a month ago! I'm so glad you continue to find enjoyment in this story as I do.
I've now refreshed and caught myself up, and I'm so excited to follow this story for real to its conclusion!
