This is gonna be a trend, isn't it? I like this version of Taylor, but she's getting upgrades left and right and already outstripped some of Worm's hardest hitters from the onset. I worry about her becoming so overpowered it ceases to be entertaining

alright. 19 chapters over 38 months. but the last was in 2019. its not 100% certain this is dead. we can hope.
this has plot, pacing, character development, cannon divergences, and the most believable redemption of emma (sorta) ive ever read.
now i admit that either i never watched archipelago or if i did it was so long ago that I've completely forgotten it. that part is completely new to me.
it also seems to fold into this world very easily. scarily so in fact. i don't know how much was changed to fit in here. but i can't see anything obvious.
the characters are all portrayed with thier own personal flaws so even though certain people are stupidly powerful, they still seem human. so much so that without the author slapping you in the face with it when a fight breaks out that you can kinda forget it. thats the mark of a well done OP protagonist story.
i just hope that the author decides to finish this story here sometime soon. maybe they usually post on qq (not everything there is graphic . . . just the vast majority), sufficient velocity, or something. like the ine posting a worm/gundam story. he cane back here and started posting two to four chapters till it was caught up.

Hell yeah, Arpeggio was one of my gateway anime. Fucking awesome to see a good fic with it. This fic has been great so far, worst part is getting caught up and having to wait. Man, PRT is going to shit themselves when Taylor really comes online into full power.

Why does every fic I read in worm try to give Taylor a reason to dislike the heroes, like shit I get that they are not the best but how in the hell does she always refuse their offer

You know, No game no life zero has the final fight scene, the end of the war, where those machines played an epic role and epic speech. I was just imagining Taylor makes an army just like that, each an individual but united. An army of humanoid robots with synthetic skin would be so epic and intimidating as she stares down leviathin.
