i am so thrilled and so grateful! what a lovely holiday gift this chapter was! thank you for sharing! i love that rose took a firm stand, and that it pleased scorpius so much! you’ve really written what i consider the ideal romantic love—partners who accept one another wholly without demanding that they remain static, who complement one other, who encourage each other to grow by praising their strengths and making up for their weaknesses, who protect one another without condescending, who learn from one another, and who delight in one another’s company. i love that rose challenges scorpius, pointing out the contradictions within his politic, and that he is willing to consider her views, even if he does not immediately agree. i love that he confronts hugo without getting defensive and absolving his own friend—still a malfoy, in that he’s cruel when he’s kind. i love how irrepressible they all are, and that hugo had enough energy for mischief, at the end. scorpius’s pining through the window at rose’s friendly, happy sweets shop purchase was adorable. i am so so so so eager to find out how the article describes them, and especially how their families’ react! thank you again!

Great chapter. I absolutely love how real and sudden Scorpius' declarations are (with the 'I adore you' from last chapter and the 'you were magnificent' in this one!)

Best Christmas présent. My reaction to this update was comparable with the one by Colette when she received Rose's letter. I like Rose and Scorp talking politics although I totally wasnt experting it. And I hope Hugo will find some closure, poor guy.
