I hope that, at the end if this book, a villian decides to read this book, follows all of its rules, and somehow manages to lose in an even stupider way than is even considered for the book, like bringing the hero right to them, and equipping them with your only weakness yourself, giving them the best armor, and walking right up to them

Something that is great about this is the way you look at the evil overlord rule and apply it in unpredictable ways. That rule is not one that I would connect to the moon. Sorry, the Moon. (Is Zelda gonna regret getting involved?)
