Honestly you could do a better Job at showing more sides of Shinji.. Mostly him Being Angry.. I mean I would at least want him To see him angry with the relavation In his mind/Internal thoughts.

I like this chapter because you had Mari talking sense to Asuka and in this one you have Asuka talking sense to Mari and there both getting a lot out in to the open, I think the training scene was a great idea and I understand Shinji hesitation when fighting because so much bad stuff has happened but the sad fact is evil Nerv will not hesitate in attacking them and he needs to be ready to kill.

Okay you totality hoodwinked me with Asuka plays dress up I was fully expecting some random scene from the movie clueless where the woman suddenly appears all in make up and is all out fitted in make up and wearing a dress and every one gasps, but seriously I could not stop laughing when she did step out because that was the last thing I was expecting and it was brilliant and I'm just not going to say what it was as I'd rather not give spoilers for those reading.

I'm glad to see that glimpse of the Misato as I had a feeling she was in there somewhere I guess this is a first small step forward. I hated those guys beating up Shinji though but its realistic and sort of makes sense because to some he is the destroyer of worlds and to others he is a savour. I thought the cafe scene with Shinji and Asuka was very sweet as was the cinema with Rei and Mari and now I seriously do not trust Ristuko after that line of questioning, because I think that she think that this Rei might be placid and emotionless like the last one for a while when this Rei isn't as she knows what anger and hate are all about and she just wants out of the cell.

Why oh why does Ristuko not telling the full truth about Rei really bother me? Maybe I'm a bit cynical but even in the movies I was never fully sure if Ristuko was really on wille side maybe I'm wrong but I just don't trust her character because she has always been about having Gendo and as her and Maya have no interaction or are not together I have to wonder what her motivations are and I think its very unfair that Rei is still in sleeping in a cell as she has a collar.

I did really love the interaction though between Mari and Rei because you feel this undercurrent that Rei likes her but is unable to express her feelings at this moment, but I also loved that Mari was just trying to cheer her up because I think she needs it and I found the scene where she rips her night clothing off and then goes back to sleep holding the teddy bear really powerful and moving.

I really enjoyed the scene in this where all of them were in Asuka's room and I thought it was nice that Mari had got Rei to visit them. I just got this odd feeling that just like Shinji has been staying in Asuka's room I'm thinking that Mari might have Rei in her quarters. The joke about Mari's bad cooking and Asuka getting indigestion and loose her taste buds for three days cracked up, I also like though that Rei is starting to now starting to voice her feelings like she's becoming fuller and I like that she hates what Gendo did to her, because now she may really progress and start to want her own identity just like the others.

I loved Mari singing Meat Loafs bat out of hell that one of my favourite 80's songs next to Dire States Money for nothing and it fit perfectly with her character and the battle was such an enjoyable read on so many levels with her and Asuka tearing up angel. I have to wonder though if the creatures stopping is all to do with Rei because she does have Lililth's powers at least that was what was shown in End of Evangelion if so this could really turn very thing in Wille's favour as up to now I feel that they have been like the rebels in the star wars in that their scrapping at edges but not making a big enough dent on evil Nerv's operation this how ever could be the key to really making that dent.

I really loved the scene you wrote with Asuka helping Shinji with his nightmare because it shows how much she has grown in that she didn't get any jealously regarding Kaworu or didn't have issues with this instead she tried to help I confess I found her giving Shinji alcohol was funny though. I personally don't think that Kaworu was just a dream as that guy seems to be able move and shift in time.

I love that you put in the S2 engine because one huge disappointment I had in 3.33 was that they still went for batteries because its so limited in that it stops where the Evangelion can go and means they still have to be moved around via ship yet with the S2 engine they have of movement to go where ever they want and I find the joint piolt system interesting.

I loved the add in about Asuka really enjoying German meat balls that was a very sweet scene also I'm glad that Shinji will be working in the kitchen because for now it will give him something to do and he's doing what he loves best which is cooking. I also like that Rei has sort of come around to the idea of Shinji as her brother and I love that your going for the idea that she has certain feelings for Mari because that makes so much sense as she in a sense Yui's daughter as she was made from her DNA and it also makes sense in terms of Mari's character as she was never able to be with Yui as Yui kind of broke her heart by going with Gendo.

Talk about Misato ruining the moment, like I was so enjoying Shinji and Asuka's interactions and she just came in and destroyed it in a heart beat thus causing Shinji to have a semi panic attack and go back in to himself, I do really love though that Asuka was trying her best to calm him down and make him feel better that was really beautifully written I also like that Rei's memories are returning I also like that we are starting to see the Rei from 2.22 because she said I want to thank someone.

Okay, that is a lot of lime. Mari the pervert has laid her hands on Asuka, and now she's onto Rei. Asuka is getting the pervert vibe onto Shinji too! Everyone is so horny after a hot fight.

I see you are going with the theory that the "women in the photo" was Mari's mother. That would work too. Mari's investigation is probably going to make Ritsuko sad.

The two WILLE directors probably represent the two kinds of people in the world with respect to WILLE, dismissive and supportive, like to Shinji. That shows another layer of ambiguity in the world.

Let's hope they are using protection
