Great chapter! I loved Mari's pep-talk with Asuka, and we'll, to be fair, Mar does know her best. As for Shinji always apologizing, very in character and appropriate, and the fact that Sakura chewed him out for it is great!

I can't wait to see what all these politics does, and how Misato will react to the request to turn over her crew, and potentially Shinji.

Also, Takao putting It out there that Shinji is being scapegoated for his father brings up the possibility of a leak of that information to the world to correct an injustice, and it seems one of the new bridge crew listened to Takao's story of what Kaji told him.

I can't wait to see what this Angel contamination is going to do with Asuka, and why it spikes, what are they afraid Asuka will do?

Well, shore leave can be a pain in the ass, can't it? I can Misato's reasoning for allowing Shinji off the ship, but boy it was a foolish idea. I was actually waiting for someone to come and grab him. Good of Misato to show up when she did. I also like the angle you're taking with Mari and Rei. Can't wait to see where that goes.

Also loving the adorable nature Shinji has with complimenting Asuka, and I do hope we get to hear more about the failed attempts to recover puppy boy in the future.

Anyway, wonderful chapter, I like Misato trying to handle her crew's concerns about Shinji, and considering he was trying to save their lives when it went to shit, they should be more grateful, the bastards.

It's nice to see a realitivley healthy relationship for Shinji and Asuka, and that it's building off the predicessor of this story.

Can't wait to read the next few chapters I still need to catch up on.

I also truly loved Shinji's outburst. It really demonstrates how conflicted he is at being displaced in time. At least he has his angry redheaded support system, right?

Nice angel battle. Very well written, and nice inclusion of music in the fight scene as well, it wouldn't be a battle with Mari without some.

As for Shinji being medic, and the fact some are sympathetic to him is a good way to show that the entire world doesn't hate Shinji, which is good to know.

Also nice to see brother and sister (or whatever) reunited once again.

Well, Shinji is feeling a bit guilty now, isn't he. I guess that's what happens when someone who likes you dies horrifically in front of his face.

Also, great rendidition of a drunken Shinji. Very comical indeed.

Also, the new Unit-02 seems interesting, can't wait to see what happens with those two being in the same Entry Plug for that long.

So Barclay wants to deal with the 6 that beat up Shinji huh. My guessing is that he'll probably use them to spy on Katsuragi on how she's dealing with Shinji. Also hope Asuka doesn't have to like wear a choker as well due to her infection. Also nice that Takao is kinda sticking up for Shinji

A great turn of events. Asuka was once again frustrated because she was useless and couldn't help Shinji in need. Mari did all she can and barely held her frustration in check. When she heard of what Ritsuko was going to do she would be surely mad as hell "What?! Failsafe in my Eva? I don't give a damn about your contamination levels!... Right, after all those years you all still don't trust me, do you? Well then why don't you put a bomb collar on me too because you're the one who told Misato to set off Shinji's collar!"

Great hint at Mari's backstories to put her motives in the picture.

Also this potential mutiny situation hinted by Misato losing of control of her crew. More drama incoming.

Nice moment with those other techs (Nagara, Tama, Takao and Kitakami.) Also hope nothing bad happens to Asuka due to her infection

Glad Shinji was saved.. This as Assholes were using him as a Scapegoat. Yeah your family would be real proud of you beating up a Kid was not at fault.

Of Course people filled With Hatred would be eager to blame someone., even if that Person does not deserve that hatred

Soryu? Given Asuka now has the Shikinami name, then Soryu must be her birth mother's name and Shikinami is her stepmother's name in order to draw this connection. Though it's funny when I imagine taking up girlfriend's family name would be the same thing his father had done.

Those are some very thoughtful questions put through Ritsuko's mind: "If she had listened to me... he would have died. [...] What would that have made us I wonder?" If Misato had activated the collar, it would turn out much worse, like this s/11278621/1/Victory.

Also, "Mari has a tendency to dig into places she shouldn't." Very interesting hint without giving away anything. Last chapter made Ritsuko look suspicious but actually it's Mari being enigmatic as always. Then we had this subtle "date" which seems to imply Mari/Rei pairing but on second thought it could also be Mari being the therapist as always. Perfect characterization for Mari on both. Anyway can't have enough time for Mari. She deserves more!

Soryu... Like what you did there. Also nice to see Ritsuko interact with Rei also nice seeing Misato nicer. Litterly thought Toji was gonna save Shinji. Hopefully we see Toji, Kensuke and Hikari soon
