Damn... this is not going well. And Damn, Maya, you've gotten hard and bitter.

Talk about a twist. Totally did not see that coming, especially from who that little plan came from. This chapter totally changes how things will work going forward, and I'm sure the coming chapters will have a lot to go over.

Now did Mari know, is that why she had trouble sleeping? Is that why she made sure Shinji stayed put.

Who has infiltrated WILLE? That's still the big question. My bet is still on Ritsuko, for whatever reason I could never trust her character... I just dislike her. Maya could also be an option, or its an entirely different character... all the same, can't wait to find out who it is. Also, my suspicions of the 12 person council of WILLE have certainly started to pan out as SEELE 4.0 (get it?)

It's good to know that WILLE isn't the only faction however, it good to know they don't have an overly domineering hold on the world. It would be interesting to know I only WILLE settlement are attacked by Angels however, which would mean they have something there drawing the Angels attention to them, like Lilith in Tokyo-3...

I'm now eagerly awaiting Chapter 16! Can't wait to see what surprises this story has in store for us next!

I don't think Ritsuko and the rest of the crew will just abandon Misato like that. I believe they might try to bail her out and help Asuka and Shinji. I also think that Mari, Rei, Sakura, Touji and Kaji (if he is actually alive) will help the pair out as well.

I love how you handled Misato and Shinji. It was very, very, touching.

Oh goodness. I really hope this doesn't end badly for Misato and WILLE

This chapter was awesome and ripped at my feels so badly I just really bad for everyone Misato for finding out to late and feeling regret Asuka for for not being told the truth Shinji for being painted as the devil and Mari because she has no idea that something is rotten with in WILLIE and that it could lead to Rei being hurt..and now it feels really bleak and dark but they always say its darkest before the dawn but I have to wonder will that be dawn in a reset world and new cycle or can this world be seeded once more and restored with out a reset as normally when Misato hands Shinji her cross it symbolizes the end of days.

What a fantastic chapter!

Opens with a wonderful tactical briefing going over some battle plan involving a shit ton of three legged Clockiels and the recovery of this mysterious object the AAA Wunder is after. The odd thing about the Clockiels is the lack of a Pattern Blue, and of course their numbers...

Then lots of intimacy between the two couples, a wonderful add in, especially Rei taking the initiative... with advice from an unexpected party... quite the interesting twist. And of course, who is Mari to say no to such advances from a beautiful woman such as Rei... that would be foolish.

Then Misato feels angry about how she's treated Shinji (and rightly so) along with Asuka finding out that secret that Shinji wasn't behind Third Impact. Asuka's reactions were spot on I think, and she was just pissed that she had been lied to for years.

Then a fantastic, action packed battle with lots and lots of fighting, and a whole bunch of new weapons systems have been added to Unit-02, and of course, the fight doesn't go anywhere near as planned, and it pretty much all goes to hell. Something tells me the non-Angel thingys are the property of NERV, and Gendo is trying something devious as always...

And well, well, well, we finally learned what happens when the contamination in Asuka's eye goes too high. I do hope they can save her from the beat within. Also, interesting twist... did Asuka think what was inside her was her mother, is her mother linked with Bardiel, or is it something else entirely.

Can't wait for the next chapter, and keep up the great work!

This was an epic and awesome chapter the whole thing with Rei and Mari was so sweet as was the thing with Asuka and Shinji I am glad that Shinji told her the truth because they shouldn't be lying to Asuka or Mari about what happened in the third impact because they have given years of there lives to this war. I loved them taking on the tripods it felt like war of worlds in some respects, I love how you mirrored that part in EOE where Asuka feels her mothers presence. I also think Misato and Rituko have got this wrong I think they need to let Asuka let go and let free that inner beast, because if EOE is anything to go by when she's in the moment and in full control she is fucking awesome force of nature who wastes everything.

Hooo boy. Asuka is not going to take this well at all. At least she knows Shinji was never responsible for the Third Impact, that's a plus. Another good thing is that Misato is starting to act like her old self little by little, I'm sure every single Misato fan on the planet loathes her "Gendo" persona.

Terrific chapter and I'm completely stoked for the next one!

Very powerful chapter, with a lot of stuff to work though, especially considering the cliffhanger from Chapter 12... well it's to be expected.

Lots of backstory on Mari, loved all that, and also some backstory on Asuka and Mari shortly after Third Impact, and a very sad ending for those flashbacks.

Finally, my favorite part was Misato, finally feeling the weight of te guilt over falsely accusing Shinji of Third Impact, I do hope they make up soon.

Also, that bit where Asuka has yet to explain her and Mari to Shinji... it should be interesting to see that reactions when it's explained in full, and also, the same thing with Mari and Rei, although I see there's as being far less awkward.

Can't wait till the next one comes out!

So now the truth comes out and everyone realizes that NERV screwed them over and that Shinji is innocent. I did really love the parallel flip between Mari comforting Asuka after impact and being that shoulder she could cry on and in the present the roles being reversed and in a really sweet way. I do feel really bad for Mari though as Kaji was clearly her father figure which makes sense as in the series Kaji seems to take on the father role as he does it with Shinji I also think that he adopted Mari because he felt guilty for what happened to his brother, it was his way of righting the universe. Frankly I believe he's just in hiding and has not been killed or maybe faked his death as he had something else in mind as I would hate to Misato and him not reunited. I did laugh though at Asuka talking about tongue and Rei trying to get a grip of her emotions was sweet.

Lack of realitic Tension.. Misatao discovered the truth to early. Lol.

I mean the Lack of Hostility and Rushed Romance in this Story and Prequel make it somewhat Cliche and Anti Climatic

But the story is still Decent

Fuyutsuki is still getting intel form WILLE from someone on the inside, and I still wonder who it is. As Ritsuko seems to be the obvious choice, I don’t want to rule her out entirely, but the obvious isn’t always the right one. Also, Gendo is hiding away in his office and Terminal Dogma, and hasn’t been seen in weeks. Is he mourning the loss of Rei, or something more nefarious?

More “angry Maya” in this chapter, and I do hope Ritsuko can quell that anger before it boils over and May does something drastic…

Misato has forgiven Shinji, eh? Now that’s important. I can’t wait for her to actually tell him she’s sorry. Also can’t wait for the news of Shinji not being at fault to go public, it certainly will be a change from the “everyone hates Shinji” phase to hopefully a more “everyone feels bad for blaming an innocent kid” kinda deal.

A happy reunion between friends as well, I must say I’m glad to hear Toji’s alive and well, married to Hikari and having a son. Its nice (and expected) Toji sticking up for Shinji, and also for Hikari to do the same was a bit of a shock, but I must say, job well done there. Also glad Kensuke is alive as well. I was so happy at his part.

Then the chapter ends on a sour note as we receive some devastating news I shan’t reveal as it’s too sad to even type out…

Now that I’m caught up, I can say excellent work so far, and I can’t wait to see the next chapter!
