Reviews for Mass Effect: Degradation |

![]() ![]() ![]() Looks promising so far. Any chance of this continuing? |
![]() ![]() Nobody else knows anything about this ship, rightly so as it's from another universe, but the illusive man knows author-level omniscience about it immediately? Kinda takes one out of the story when hes given that level of knowledge. Why send his agent(s) in blind if he already knows everything about Dead Space? And hes even wrong too, you dont need to be dead first for the infection. Did you forget the intro to DS2? Dude was turned into a necromorph in Isaac's and the players face while still alive. People are just usually dead when it happens cuz, yunno, necromorphs. And depending on a Marker being nearby, which is in the Ishimura, its signal will trigger dementia and the like in to ME characters. Unless you're giving them all plot armor to avoid it, cuz not even Isaac was spared. I dont see how ME is supposed to have superior tech. Maybe in some ways, more of its characters are militarized cuz of the story, but DS shouldn't be a series you thumb your nose at and dismiss immediately like this. I think you're more of an ME fanboy and its making you biased. DS ships shock drive travel is superior to MEs relay dependant ships. ME ships arent able to travel the distances and length of time DS counterparts are. The Ishimura itself is designed for long bouts of deep space traveling, cracking entire planets (I saw your downplaying there) for materials in record time instead of that tedious singular ore mining you do in ME. They grow their own food and air. Quarians alone should want to be all over this ship. Dead Space made their own biotics abilities without any eezo needed. Telekinesis and stasis in the flick of the wrist. These assholes reverse engineered a Marker; catastrophic yes, but those things had near limitless energy. And all the tech before the marker meltdown is human made only. No outsider influence. Regardless of whatever "better" security they have on the citadel wont mean jack to necromorphs. All those monsters they made out of just human material? They made the tank. Now imagine krogans getting infected. You're severely downplaying DS in favor of ME, I see it a lot in Mass Effect covers. Fanboys always favor ME even when it's the inferior tech, it's just not acceptable to ME fanboys for the series to be second best in any way with so many races to its franchise. |

![]() ![]() I really wish this was still in production, my favorite crossover between Dead Space and Mass Effect :( |
![]() ![]() I enjoyed this, please update. Also give Isaac more screen time |
![]() ![]() ![]() please UPDATE! SUCH ENJOY TO READ UNTIL THE END! |
![]() ![]() ![]() fucking great chapter really fucking amazing man just glad you updated the story... keep it up and hopefully try to update before the turn of the year. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Makes you wonder if knowing about the Reapers will make it any easier to accept the idea of the Marker. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Everywhere Issac goes there's always more than the Necromorphs gunning for him. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really going to enjoy it when those two get what they deserve. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Just imagining the (empty) streets and hallways of the Citadel Wards now devoid of life (living life) in the wake of a Necromorph attack knowing that the creatures are lurking behind every vent and sealed door kind of sends a shiver down your back. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Just knowing what they're about to walk into makes me feel sorry of them, especially after just getting done with the Collectors a short while ago. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, an even more terrifying location for a Necromorph outbreak than the Sprawl, even without the added effect of new lifeforms to turn into new horrors. What a great set up! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Damn it, that bastard made himself a hybrid. Though how he isn't mutating is the question most prevalent here, especially after his body enduring heavy combat. Zaeed kinda gave up too quickly to be honest, but I guess he realized siding with Shepherd was a safer bet than his contractor. Finally, just what kind of plan involves the Marker? |
![]() ![]() ![]() First contact! If Zaeed is there instead of with Shepherd, then that can only mean Shepherd didn't have enough Paragon/Charisma to convince Zaeed to stay. Well, either that or Shepherd didn't bother recruiting him. So, if the former, what will happen when Garrus and Co meet up with him with him contracted to kill their new companion? |
