Dotty will be over the moon with joy and her confidence in her sneaking suspicions will evaporate. Billy and Jeanie will be, too. A box of deVaronna chocolates to silence Francine wouldn't go amiss, either. Me? I'm STILL waiting for news on that "point five" in the oven!

It bothers me greatly that Billy's amused over Lee and Amanda's rough patch. Then again, he's going to be hurt and furious when he learns they're already married.

Ah, this is the Life Support cross-over chapter. Lee's "stereo wives" crack still cracks me up!

Dotty hit the nail right on the head with her, "... why you haven't started it [aka "marriage"] yet is a mystery to me." Followed by her very wise, "... don't make them [Lee, Phillip & Jamie] mutually exclusive." Keep beating that drum, Dotty, because guilt does work!

"... we have the whole weekend to ourselves right?" Why am I suddenly laughing, "Sure you do"?

Now Amanda's got Lee "paying" for mail delivery! Does he mind? Au contraire!

These two are really hitting their stride now! Great fun.

Coffee revved him up, Scotch took the edges off the caffeine and Amanda's perfumed bedtime story of love and lust roused Lee to take action so he didn't feel lonely anymore. Perfect!

"Wanna fight now?" Lee asks, hopefully. Seems these two have developed a new code for "you know" and "having a thing." Like it!

Sad that, when Amanda listed her three roles, be a good wife came last. Maybe that's why Lee over-reacted, thinking their short-distance marriage is "just as bad for her" as her long-distance one. Joe was big-time bad because he skedaddled, wasn't there for her or the boys and that made it clear he didn't truly love them. Lee's there to give her hugs and talk together face-to-face when she's down. Lee, you are light years better for Amanda! What's at fault here and dragging you both down is your ridiculous decision to keep your marriage secret. Where's Dr. Pfaff? You two need to have your heads examined!

I loved this story. I liked the fact that you had Amanda write Lee some sexy letters and that he was going to tell her one as well, hmm I wonder what Lee was going to say about the Bedside Bluebell. Like how you started with Sunday evening and went to Friday afternoon, tense moments along the way, but love and connectedness sprinkled in between each tense moment.
