I understand that seduction is one of Hiccup’s few options in persuading Astrid, but it’s nice that he’s starting to finally feel the backlash of guilt along with his growing feelings.

I honestly forgot about this fic and didn’t realize how far behind I was, but this is nice to catch up on.

AaaaHhhhh! You finally updated! After one of the worst cliffhangers, and after a year long wait(sends virtual hugs). I woke up to find this in the morning, and believe me this week was going to hard for me(pending assignments/college/group projects with the worst group of ppl) and I was dreading today but lemme tell you, you just made my day:)) Thank you. And YESS, you do have a audience, I'm sure the no. Love that Hiccup finally said the words. Astrid's reaction was born of fear probably. Not wanting her wildest dreams to be used against her, only for Hiccup to prove her wrong. The letter from dad must be nice for Hiccup and to have his father say that he will support whatever decision he makes, be it stay with Astrid or return Berk. Must be a weight off Hiccup's shoulders. Now comes the task of finding Astrid's would be assassin, bringing about another Heir (though I'm sure they won't mind that part ;p) and Hiccup convincing Astrid that he does things not out of duty but love. Wonder what Toothless will have to say about all this the next time we meet.
