It was awesome to see another chapter! It was great to see Astrid and Hiccup interact, even if they don't get along. I hope that he doesn't do something stupid - for all of their sakes.

Definitely want to see more of this one-how Hiccup copes with the politics in Cartan, whether he and Astrid will ever develop a proper relationship with Astrid, what Jatha is up to... Please continue! There is nothing else like this and it's fascinating!

I'd REALLY rather not see Hiccup trying something with another woman, even considering the circumstances that's messed up in it's own way.

THAT WAS JUST TOO ADORABLE! I mean sure Hiccup contemplated murdering Astrid in her sleep but who wouldn't when faced with the possibilities. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This disturbs me a bit. Not the fact that she's a tyrannical female leader, but that she's ASTRID and he's HICCUP. It just doesn't feel right. And Hiccup being a consort? I wanted to hurt everyone for so much as saying the wrong thing to Hiccup. I wish that somebody do an ambush and hurt them and try to rescue Hiccup.

I'm having a hard time forgiving them or sympathizing with them. No one messes with my Berk. NO ONE. Also Heather's a jerk. Why'd you do that? She's awesome! And where's Eret? Or Dagur? Will Dagur try to save Hiccup?

Also, the sleep scene was adorable. But surely Astrid understands that a relationship between the conquered and the conqueror is complicated and precarious? Surely she can't expect him not to resent her for destroying his home, "ruling with a firmer hand" on his people, enprisoning his father, and practically forcing Hiccup to leave his home and people forever in order to save them, and rub it in his face whether intentionally or not? Hiccup's reaction is to be expected.
