Hey, just found this, and it's pretty good. Interesting twist. Was Molly referring to female Harry when she said 'She should have been here'? (By the way, it should be 'mum', not 'mom'.) Ron being friendly to the snakes was interesting as well. I'll watch for updates, thanks for posting.

Wow, now that's a surprise. Will Ron turn completely surrounded by girls? Its interesting how Hermione mention Ron being a knight jokingly.

This is great. I like this version of Ron very much.
Saving Luna's mum was nice too.

It'll be very interesting to see how the changes affect the story,

OK I just found your story and have greatly enjoyed reading all the previous chapters. This chapter the ending most defiantly threw me for a loop, a female Harry this is going to make for a very good twist on a classic tale. One would have assumed that Ron would have learned about there being a girl who lived rather than a boy who lived by this point. He did just live out his entire life to this point. Unless of course his parents and siblings and everyone else he associated with were hiding it from him for some reason.

Nice switcharoo to pull on Ron. Looking forward to seeing what other changes will pop for Ron to stumble into.

Oh, wow. Ripper of a chapter. My heart was in my throat as I read it. I didn't know if you were going to let Ron save Luna's mum, you see. If' I'd known where you're taking this story, if I knew she was going to be saved in advance, then I wouldn't be grinning-out-loud :-) in relief right now.

Okay, now that I've got that out of my system ... your Luna is lovely. It's a fandom rule that *everyone* loves Luna. So nice to see her before her soul/mind fractured. I rejoiced in the differences between her and canon's Luna as Ron enumerated each in turn.

As a H/Hr man I'm well familiar with stories which pair Ron and Luna, so I'm all in favour of that happening here (DON'T TELL ME!) - her friendship with Ron is delightful. Just as it was satisfying to see Luna have friends in HBP and DH, so it is here. Even more so, actually, as I didn't find Rowling's work very gratifying - Harry still treated her badly in HBP, Ron continued thinking her a loon (albeit 'growing on him') and so forth. Now this, this is nice.

The only thing I'm slightly worrying about is whether Ron genuinely enjoys being with Luna, or if he's only acting. He *is* an adult in a boy's body, after all. I probably wouldn't enjoy being stuck with a nine year old girl. And we have his 'wasn't really taking it seriously' thing. I'm being picky I guess, thinking too much, because overall the tenor of the story, Ron's intrinsic feelings, are all positive.
