The scene between Tatsuya and Gilles was interesting. And I understand Gilles' reasons for not being interested in killing Tatsuya because there would be no excitement for Gilles if he did...and as I said before, it's a big red flag when someone like Gilles isn't interested in killing you, XD.

I liked the appearance of the monster worm.

On the other hand, it will be interesting to know what will happen next due to the events that occurred in this chapter (and a lot of things happened that will have an impact).

I liked that Airi and Archer had their moment to shine.

You know, i think while Tatsuya try to make Magatsu pay for Sanada that been victimized...I think Magatsu can agree to return the body armor design while saying The Higher up of JSDF agree because JSDF soldier that been wearing that armor even still dies while wearing that armor... which is useless against a servants

Seriously Magatsu? You used Four Leaves Tech on Mori Nagayoshi? The Guy who pretty much is a wrecking ball? You need rugged sturdy equipment meant to take a beating instead of fragile break if you sneeze on it for this guy! But then again you get what you pay for so take that as you will.

And chiba goes trying to ask questions about “Warlord” where Magatsu “subtley” mentions if he keeps playing 20 questions, he and his family will get a visit from “Warlord”.

Something to be pointed out is that life isn’t like those cops/detective shows where you can ask a series of questions when a group doesn’t want to talk about it without getting some real threats/retaliation back for it. Which Inagaki mentions why the Chief is always upset with Chiba.

Yeah, unfortunately Berserker isn’t one for logical thinking meaning he’s just going to murder Hakuno and Caster as well as Aira and Archer despite not being responsible for the mess that just happened.

Interesting thing to point is that Aira whole heartly believes Archer could not have defeated Berserker without her noble phantasm which points some interesting things about her fighting ability/stats.

Meanwhile we go back to Tatsuya who doing everything he can to Gilles which ultimately amount to jack shit. So, Gilles decide to go home without killing Tatsuya (which if he was smart he would count his lucky stars) Of course Tatsuya can’t just accept letting a madman who is way stronger then him to walk away so he tries one of his ace in the hole moves and it does…absolutely nothing.
And Gilles tries to explain things to Tatsuya as a dim witted child why he won’t kill him which yeah since Tatsuya does not feel emotions let alone fear killing him wouldn’t accomplish anything let alone joy for Gilles it would be….just work. Like eating extremely bland food with no flavor, ultimately you feel like you wasted energy for something that gives you nothing.

In response of that Tatsuya tries to bury Gilles alive. Course he failed in that. Obviously since Gilles can just go in spirit form and not get crushed by rocks even then I highly doubt it would do anything to him.

Yeah considering how on one timeline Hakuno faced against various servants (one which may or may not been Lu Bu or Arcueid) Caster can face against Berserker with Hakuno guiding her.

Meanwhile Magatsu is realizing that his Servant may be facing another servant and the dread realization that it may be Harways Servant Gawain is one of horror. Though he’s quick to figure out someone was using modern magic with innate magic meaning someone from the 100 families was in the stadium.

Which makes things worse for Magatsu due to how easily the situation can get complicated/ugly for him. As well as showing his personal views of the 100 families from the Heirs/scions who just go around doing whatever they want like a cowboy cop and steal the rewards while the regular people who put in the work get nothing but a mess to clean up. Or if they cause a disaster they skip town leaving them holding the bag. To the matter if any of them get injured said family comes after them like a hammer from God

And while it’s easy to see this as Magatsu looking through jaded tinted glasses the thing is it did happen, from how in canon in the Irregular verse Tatsuya got all this “friends” to launch a raid on a Blanche hideout. This was within volume 1 if I remember right.

So Magatsu has some reason to dislike the 100 families due to how he views them leeching and lording over the people he views who put in the hard work as well put their lives on the line to protect Japan. In some ways he is trying to be a father to his men in a sense which is ironic considering how his fate red line canon part acted and thought in comparison to this one…..or perhaps being given a “second” chance is making him want to do things “right” for once? It’s interesting to think about it.

Meanwhile we have Tatsuya who is looting the bodies-I mean collecting evidence! Yes “evidence” and not anyone’s wallets(JK).

Meanwhile he tries to look into Ryuunosuke killing habits (which frankly there isn’t much of a pattern since anyone and everyone is free game to him and Gilles) Though Tatsuya and Kyouko think its ritualistic purpose and, in some ways, they are not entirely wrong? But they are not entirely right either.

Also, we get some interesting history lessons! Ritual magic involving human sacrifice were banned in the 40’s which ironically means they were “supposed” to be banned during WW2 but you can bet your bottom dollar that there were plenty of people/groups using them during that time since there were a LOT of people being killed. Same goes for Necromancing! Though I have to laugh if Tatsuya thought the zombie gorilla was a scary representative for Necromancing considering it’s usually the whole legions of warriors that can’t be put down that are more commonly used. Or the super Zombie/undead that is turbo charged, maybe we will see something in the future?

Well frankly “forbidden Magic” has more bang for its buck, but it comes with some extreme costs in return as well you know violating the Geneva code as well as religious beliefs. It’s why it’s more stronger than usual Ancient Magic which is far stronger than modern magic but of course it makes everyone see the user as a complete monster.

And Aria and Archer just missed Gilles. Man they are not much help here. Not surprised but I guess I should give credit to Archer wanting to make sure her master is completely safe. Thankfully they see Tatsuya running away meaning they know he was there and he was the idiot that tried to fight a servant.
Yeah Berserker armor is basically a Giant leech to its surroundings ensuring that Berserker doesn’t fall prey to weaknesses of his class, lack of survival. Course the cuffs on him are new

Yeah, Hakuno we do not need to see Caster Polygamist Castration Fist. None of us who possess the XY chromosome want to imagine it. Anyway fighting Mori is a bit of a slug fest and unfortunately time’s up.

Looks like Gilles left a gift, or rather a parting gift that will part everyone around him.

Well, looks like we are going to see that Super Zombie-skeleton Boss I mentioned earlier! Also, yep Kudou is going to murder someone given how said Stadium is now utterly wrecked by a serial killer who was in the premise and there are now dead JSDF’s as well as a dead student. Not helping matters is that the reputation of the event and Kudou is now tanked which leads to the clause made the Harways going to take into effect. Then there’s the real possibility that Ryuunosuke putting the video of people getting slaughter on the internet, meaning trying to cover it up is going to be impossible. Added with the fact that said event was supposed to regain the pride of the 100 families it has utterly failed at that. This is going to be a PR nightmare in what was supposed to be a “safe secure and fun” event for the various magic schools. Which ironically it will not be First high under fire now but various other groups, which one that will get the most blame I’m not sure.

Of course, Mori shows his lack of brains thinking Caster was behind it despite fighting for her life against him.

Yeah, sorry archer you’re going to have to deal with the worm as it making itself a problem for you. Granted it leads to a series of events that have Caster and Hakuno have Berserker caught in an explosion. Though I do not think Berserker died from that explosion.

An update? I can’t believe this? Wait what’s this? This was posted in June?! How did I miss this!? I got a review to make up!

Anyway, it looks like we get some sort of flash back between Ryuunosuke and Bluebeard making some sort of unholy art with people bones. Honestly if it wasn’t for the fact they were making horrible works of art with people corpses it would have look like two friends just having a casual conversation while they work on an art project.

Oh dear god….Prelati FOUND Bluebeard….I shudder what could have happen if Prerlati asked for his “BOOK” back from Gilles. Thankfully that didn’t happen. It also shows whatever the duo made was bad enough that actual Triads were horrified by it despite all the things they do for a living. It also says a lot about of Prelati to have a good idea of “who was behind it just from looking at the art style of the corpses left behind. And it looks like Prelati left behind a “gift” one can only wonder what horrors it has and potential “inspiration” is inside it.

Oh And Prelati gives some artistic suggestions on a skull’s placement.

And we back to the group having a fun time with Mario Kart and for Tatsuya getting a call about how things just went from bad to worse on a place/situation already a powder keg ready to blow. And surprisingly Ryuunosuke or maybe Gilles is able to rid of all his existing records from the world…or maybe it’s the fact that Ryuunosuke doesn’t “exists” in the irregular verse. Can’t say for sure at the moment.

And it looks like the emergency exit on the west wing is the most popular spot considering how we got Hakuno, Aira and their servants using that same spot to go out of the building to deal with the serial killer. Which both caster and archer (who we still don’t know anything about) both know Tatsuya is there but say nothing about him.

Yeah, Tatsuya you were trained by ninja’s and all but the thing is REGULAR people cannot see/sense you, those two are NOT regular people.

We go back to Magatsu giving the green light to turn Ryuunosuke into Swiss cheese before he could do whatever he is planning. Only instead of a dead corpse is an annoyed Master who unleashes a nasty ritual. Making some corpse gorilla with a shadow Gilles driving it and making every poor bastard within his reach a smear in the ground.

Side note looks like Ryuunosuke is videoing the slaughter and we all KNOW he’s DEFINITELY going to post this online and people will know what just happened despite the governments best efforts to prevent it from being spread.

And Chiba and Inagaki best efforts are basically worth shit against this monster.

So, it’s up to Magatsu to call in the heavy artillery (so to speak) and bring in “The Warlord” which yeah is going to be more destructive than a literal air strike.

And Tatsuya makes it to the stadium to see the slaughter going on. Yet despite the numerous corpses Tatsuya is in no rush to go and save Magatsu group considering how much he doesn’t like the guy despite how they are both on the same side.

And Berserker is finally here and ready to score up points. Yeah its obvious who this guy is anyone played FGO during a certain event will know this guy speech pattern and behavior.

Really Tatsuya? You showing disgust at the idea/concept of a human superweapon? Remind me of how you were born again? Pot calling the kettle black? As for the Samurai armor it’s a thing called “Style”. And fight between Shadow servant driving gorilla zombie ends real quickly.

Huh Tatsuya ends up being within grabbing distance to Gilles…. who would have imagined it? Yeah, not surprised that a Berserker and a Caster with Mental Pollution at A-Rank can never understand each other Hell even the Nobunaga group couldn’t truly understand Mori despite working together with him.

Yeah, Gilles appearance is something you can’t forget anytime soon. Though important detail to point out is that Gilles has SACREMENTS. Whatever they are it’s going to be bad news for everyone else, that’s for sure.

And Tatsuya attacks are worth less than shit here against even the weakest in stats servants. Though I will admit seeing Gilles annoyed how Tatsuya is trying to kill him while he is just trying to have a conversation with him is funny not going to lie.

Yeah, Gilles Tatsuya family pretty much screwed him emotionally as a human they made him more robot than person. Not going to get much terror unless you go for his sister and even then, it would be more likely burning rage if you kill her.

Yeah making a cake with flour or sugar makes it…..actually I don’t know but it’s not a cake at that point.

Well damn looks like Berserker found Caster! Time for the showdown with the Demon Musashi Vs Bluebeard!

Whoo! What fun! Enjoyed this a lot along with Tamamo being Tamamo as always! Lol. Also enjoyed how you had Bluebeard just realize that since Tatsuya was practically void of emotion, it would just “be a bore” to try and kill him as he wouldn’t show that succulent “despair at there being no God” and all that. I can also tell Ryunnoske will be quite the interesting issue later on.

The update was unexpected, but I’m glad it happened. This was fire. tbh, I had to re-read some of the chapters to get the whole context but it works out well. I don’t mind Tatsuya losing to the servants, it makes sense.

Hello internet person, Mori Nagayoshi has nothing to do with good old Musashi and is most definitely not a descendant since Mori Nagayoshi died the same year that Miyamoto Musashi was BORN (1584), I assume that your mistake came from Nagayoshi being called “Oni Musashi”, the Musashi part apparently being written the same as Miyamoto Musashi, but it ultimately has nothing to do with him.

Ok out of curiosity, is this incident got caught on camera by random bystanders?
