More than anything, i really want to know what Kakashi showed Hidan in the genjutsu that seemed to affect him so much.
I think the best line in the chapter is, of course:
(People could get stupid over their kids, Kakuzu knew this first hand.)
Having read this story multiple times, i believe it’s apparent that out of everyone else, Kakuzu is the one who’s at least is honest with his feelings for their youngest member—or at least in acceptance of it. And i think while the rest of Nanami’s Red Clouds behave more like her brothers, Kakuzu is more of a fatherly figure towards her? Which makes me love their interactions even more, especially when you put in lines like the one i mentioned.
Ah! I really can write sonnets about how much love i have for this story, and i’m hoping you’ll indulge our pleas for an update sooner rather than later! Maybe about the fate of the Zombie duo or how they will relay the news of Nanami’s capture to the rest of the team? Sasuke and Nanami teaming up to make sure Inoichi isn’t aware of her previous life? An interrogation showdown with Nanami and Tsunade?
In the meantime, i hope you’re staying safe and healthy. Thank you so much for writing this epic story that’ll continue to be my favorite x
