Reviews for Order of Mercy |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() The scene on platform 9 3/4 was intense. It was nice to see how far Fleur and Molly's relationship has come. I'm guessing they still have a long way to go though. Bill seems to be taking the weight of the world on his shoulders. I never thought about how difficult that could be for a marriage. I enjoyed reading about Audrey and Percy's impromptu date. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ahh just enough of a slow burn for that first kiss to be satisfying and not at all frustrating. Much as I like Audrey though, the Bromance between Percy and Oliver is really something. |
![]() ![]() ![]() 1) poor Oliver 2) Audrey’s response about bringing a whole Gryffindor instead of wearing a lion, and Percy being an overachiever I am still laughing 3) The FEELS when Percy thinks of his dad and the lights 4) whaaaaat?! That ending! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Percy at the beginning of this chapter is a MOOD Also, it was nice to see the order’s first act. I suspect the speculations are correct, and it will never go that smoothly again |
![]() ![]() ![]() The last few chapters have been wonderful. I really enjoyed reading about Percy and Audrey's first date (plus Oliver). I also enjoyed the insight into the Weasleys' place in pureblood society, the opinions of purebloods besides the Malfoys, based off of Seth's comments about Audrey trying to drive her mother into an early grave/mad. Does that place change after the 2nd war ends, when Kingsley's administration takes power? What is Margaret Sprayberry's opinion of Percy/The Weasleys when Percy and Audrey get married? Does Seth ever warm up to Percy, after Percy and Audrey get married? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Catriona is a compelling character- I hope we get to see more of her! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the Wood’s reactions to disowning Catriona - especially, as a Puff myself, the shout out to the stubbornness of Hufflepuffs! A bit of Ginny/Fleur bonding was also nice to read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Fleur. Everyone in this story has their demons, and they’re all well earned. You know, I’ve known for a while now that Percy and Oliver would have shared a common room, but I never imagined them as friends. Too fanatic over very different things. But somehow, here, it works. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ahaha that parting line! Wonderful! |
![]() ![]() ![]() An excellent chapter, lots of decisions made, and clearly some action about to happen. Well done |
![]() ![]() ![]() Adored this insight into Fleur’s mind - also into Percy’s. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story got recommended to me in one of the Facebook groups, and while it is not a pairing I have ever read before, something compelled me to give it a try. After chapter 1, I can see that I’m going to end up reading this thing to the end. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm glad I waited to read this adventure until I'd read all of your other stories. Pieces are falling into place from other tales and I'm looking forward to seeing how the story arch plays out. One thing I neglected to say in other reviews is how much I like your Percy. You've made him a very real person for me and I suddenly like him much better than I did. Thank you for that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I enjoyed meeting all of Audrey's siblings. Her mother seems to have complicated relationships with Sarah and Seth too. I love the Wood family and how protective they are of Catriona and Campbell. I enjoyed seeing Ginny and Fleur take tentative steps towards building a relationship. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I decided to reread this story since I didn't review the first time I read it. I like the idea that Percy secretly passed information to the OotP and was in contact with Bill during DH. The older I get the more sympathetic I am to Percy. I adore the Weasleys, but it is hard to deny that the Weasleys in some ways pushed him away. |
