This is a great story! I just started watching Daredevil and reading fanfiction for it. You have done a great job of capturing the characters personalities accurately in my opinion. Keep going! It's really fun to read!

I just love it when the readers know something the characters are about to find out, or don't know at all...like the fact that Matt Murdock is daredevil. This was an exciting chapter! Thanks for helping me escape real life!

This is pretty good, it kind of summarizes my feelings about getting involved even peripherally with the Avengers. Much like fae or the gods, it tends to ruin people's lives as they behave with no thought for consequences to those who have to live where they 'play'.

Stark could fund a free legal aid office for the two lawyers to run. That way it could draw the devil in.

Say stark does find out the devil is the blind lawyer, I am hoping for a really pimped out cane for the devil. One that gives him far mor options in a fight.

Part of me hopes Tony seats the devil on the guys that are responsible for the kidnapping, but I wonder if Murdock the lawyer might be a better weapon, if backed by Tony money and resources. They might be able to stop he avengers coming after them, but the legal system is still there.

I'm hoping we can get to the bossy roommate soon, because this chapter was a bit depressing. I get why Stark did what he did in trying to investigate daredevil. I also get why Matt does his job, but the vast financial divide between the two is upsetting. Tony clicks a few buttons from a hospital and spends more money on PIs and cameras than Matt has in total. Matt pretends suicidal thoughts just to get a bit more information and it ends up with him having to move and become a sewer dweller in order to continue living his life. I get it Tony Starks power is money. If Thor placed his hammer on your foot you couldn't move and he'd be able to do it with the same ease and clicking around on a tablet. You'd feel just as trapped with the same level of effort.

Oh Matt. Oh Tony. Just . . . aggh!

Thank you thank you thank you for acknowledging that using DNA to make a positive ID is entirely dependent on having a suspect to compare it to, or someone whose DNA is aleady on file (which is not the entire planet, dammit). It brings such joy to my heart to see forensics applied sensibly in fiction.

Nice chapter! Poor Matt having to leave home, just because Stark decided to snoop. I kinda feel for those hapless guys Stark had installing the cameras too. I mean, I friggin love how dark and hilariously awkward that whole scene was-what with the absurdity of the sinister spyware guys who bugged his house also freaking out/intervening on their target's behalf. At the same time, it's so darn relatable, cause I would be EVERY BIT the same blubbering mess in their shoes. XD

Nice job demonstrating the isolating effects of Daredevil's vigilante lifestyle and Stark learning there are all kinds of things going on under the surface with the Accords.

Oh my. Though I don't think Matt is thinking clearly about consequences. It could be assumed he went through with a suicide in an undiscovered location. The hate mail might actually help with that. That's going to play hell with Foggy until the Devil is public though I don't think he will believe suicide. Foggy's changes in behavior might be telling under surveillance.

He disappears as soon as surveillance is instituted a more suspicious mind like Tony's will key on that as the significant fact. If the assumptions are he didn't commit suicide (Foggy will be adamant on that point) and can't be the Devil then The Devil either disappeared him or aided him in disappearing. Until something shakes Tony's assumption.

Ack! Can't wait for more! This one is going to have me pondering.
