![]() ![]() ![]() Once again, I am reading this story. It is one of my favorite stories, along with Synthesis. You are actually one of my favorite authors. I enjoy each and every story that you put out, even in fandoms that I don't normally read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() pretty shitty story so far. theres heaps of text but nothing that really contribute to the story. there are constant pov changes to the perspectives of people utterly irrelevant and unknown. |
![]() ![]() the bodies - the body's |
![]() ![]() ![]() Done took a few days, but im finally done. sad ending for me, because as your own comment explained. The civilizations were all based on brainwashing and manipulation , then ascension was like the final brainwashing . Shit we didn't even get Ai's as enemies (beyond mentionsto reinforce the cycles purpose ,poor geth . Shame the ending didn't give me the satisfaction of humans rising up or another species fighting back . thaks for the story |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well 80 more chapters and i am more sure that story should be called human hypocrisy. on and on they go about ascensions perfection, while as harbinger said "they are doing everything to avoid it". Having a kingdom of humans means they dont actually believe uplifting a whole species at once. instead only those they support keep going. surprisingly good story, but im here hoping humans get wiped now |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story can be called human hypocrisy. Really good story, but damn humans doing everything they complain about others did. The asari would be impressed by them |
![]() ![]() And there it is. 1.2 megawords of story have now been fed to my eyeballs. I can't believe I actually finished reading this - it seemed so huge. I can't tell whether it's a happy ending or not. Sure, humanity is in charge and Shepard got his vengeance. But I still feel like they lost something by getting turned into Reapers. And then there's what looks like stagnation, where everyone gets turned into a Reaper but no further. I suppose I've been spoiled by other stories, crossovers and such. And I still find it hard to see Reapers as protagonists. But hey, that's what you wrote and that's what we get. You made it pretty clear here that eezo tech is the only tech there is and that's fair enough. But it was an interesting read and I don't regret any of the time I spent clicking the "next chapter" button. I've no idea how you managed to type out a megaword in three years. I seriously applaud your effort. |
![]() ![]() "Why are you attacking?", asks Xavia. Wow. That's... pretty conceited of her. Her government ruined two planets with warp drive missiles. Killed billions. And she really doesn't understand why there's retaliation? Me? I'd make it a war of extermination. And just for irony's sake, employing the exact same mechanisms that they did - get a large rock, point it at their planets, accelerate to FTL. Especially given that the Ullator seem to be chronic backstabbing manipulators (as seen a couple of chapters later). |
![]() ![]() "Smoking Kills". That is fantastic. I would say something about "law of unintended consequences", but it really wasn't. |
![]() ![]() That... that is very poignant. They signed a deal with the devil and now Satan has come to take his dues. It's pretty depressing, but I still want to keep reading. You're very good at this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Why the fuck did they destroy earth? That seems ass backwards |
![]() ![]() God, this entire subplot is so boring and superfluous. I care about exactly none of these people. |
![]() ![]() "thru" For god's sake, be a bit less sloppy. |
![]() ![]() "Ait Chonaithe: a place of residence" -Google Translate Wow, creative much? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not crying. It's the air in my eyes! |
