Telling them they are a comic always ruins the story for me. He could’ve came up with a good lie.

An idea is thrown out.
Inspiring a splash of motivation.
Flowing forward, only to be redirected.
A world fading into darkness.
Likely never to be seen again, the memory gathering dust.
Lost in the reaches of time, we can only hope for the day it resurfaces.
Ripples in the Pond fade away.
Until we meet again.
Night is falling, time to sleep.

I would appreciate a link to that D&D themed One Piece SI, please.

Did you forget you gave Luffy a 45,000,000 Berri bounty rather than 30,000,000?
Nice! "Fist if Hate" is definitely going to come in useful in the future.

Forcing yourself to learn Observation Haki by removing your eyes? Not a bad idea...
Insanely painful and ridiculously over the top, but effective.

Also, I forgot to comment earlier when Eternal Poses were introduced, but since they are locked to a single location and essentially work like regular compasses (just for islands rather than True North) couldn't you use a single or possibly two Eternal Poses to chart and navigate the Grand Line like any normal section of the world? It'd have a different point of reference, but it should work, right?

Some issues about midway through:
"She sat up slowly, rubbing the side of her head. Her mouth opened to releaseintake a huge yawn, and she glanced up with tired eyes as Nami and Zoro stepped over to her,. tTh
latter of the two sheathinged his swordWado Ichimonji as he went and then. The swordsman offereingd his hand to help her up., and Nojiko accepted gratefully, unable to hold
back another yawn as he pulled her"

The BBEG is the spirit of a Swedish extreme metal band?

The attempt to compress the water sounds a lot like Noodlehammer's take on Naruto using water to complete the Rasengan rather than wind. He had about 4 clones keep constant inward pressure on the Rasengan as I think 2 added water created by ninjutsu to the gradually compressing ball of turbulence. After a decent amount of time, they had compressed a huge amount of water into the same size as a regular Rasengan ~8ish inches diameter. Then he hid behind a shield, released the clones, which allowed the built up pressure to unleash. The resulting explosion of high-speed water-droplets destroyed a huge section of forest that had been encased in crystal. An incredible AOE attack that is highly likely to his friend as much as foe...

Oh, I love this list. I really would like to know the origins for some of these, and hope to see sevral of them happen (though Cross beat you on the "Dance Thriller to Thriller in Thriller Bark" one).
I feel like I've seen the "Crocodile met Ivankov" theory where Crocodile was originally a woman somewhere, but I don't remember where...
Why a bear? Why not something bigger and meaner?
Raizo? ... searching ... Oh. Way way farther than I've gotten. He's from Wano, in the New World...

It seems this story resonates with you if you are breaking personal records with it. You may not be up to the sheer length that This Bites! strives for in each chapter, but you're definitely going on my list of favored authors.

...There's a One Piece equivalent to Hulk Hogan?
Surprised there wasn't some kind of "divine" repercussion for the "old, nerdy guy" crack...

Alright! Another story that should let me love it! Give me a few chapters to get into the story, and odds are good it'll be on my recommendations, no trouble.
One Piece seems to have a strange draw for me. This is, what, the third OP story I've started on here? All of them SI's as well...
So far it seems to be an interesting story, 12 Red Lines sent me here in the Rap Battle Crossover. I enjoyed Vikingr's story, so I really hope this is on par. I have to say, getting a Devil Fruit on day 1, but also an OP one that lets you walk on water seems a little power-gameish.
Then again if I was a BROB, screwing with the natural order is 100% something I'd do to at least a few of the universes I'd visit. I mean, hell, I've thought about it to the point I've even come up with a system of just /how/ I'd go about it.
