You're an artist and writer of the highest caliber in creating these plots and subplots. They're excellent. If I could suggest a name for the replacement of the first officer for the Wolverine, I would suggest Sarada Haruno, someone who admires and respects Naruto, her hero and a figure to emulate and surpass.

I would love to see the flashback conversation with the yeomans reaction to who all on the ship Naruto is actually married to lol

Yeah, they're definitely going to park some Mercury's at Starbase 20 to deal with the Cardassians, if they try any more crap after the spanking that the Wolverine just gave them.

Nodaway and Williams or any of the other Fast Cruiser skippers would be the best choices.

- Damage
Well, that's going to keep the Cardassians busy for a bit. Don't think it'll be enough to force them to the negotiation table, due to physiology and cultural reasons, but it's going to slow then down by a lot.. (not quite enough damage to cow them, but as said, it's definitely going to slow down their belligerence for a bit.)

- Chief Engineer
Well, the old sourpuss is going to love Vyorin', best traits of both Naruto and one of his best NCOs in T'Lyra.

Definitely not surprised that the previous guy got replaced or that Terumi pulled strings to get someone she knows will get her ship operational.
