I skimmed through this fic without any expectations. Not much of a fan of reading lores outside of the story in general but damn I love how you delivered them. Entertaining, lively, and too much of Aherns' shits and badassery.

Yeah, he is underestimating Garrus, massively. Or perhaps he drunk on Ice Brandy- again.
Sometimes, reading his files you have. a feeling that the man is fucking around with would-be readers. He even downgrades himself at the times.
Like, the guy is obviously deadlier than a majority of War-Priestesses and even some historical Praetors. Like, shit, he once fought off a fucking YAHG in melee, and those things could eat a Krogan for lunch. Give him a knife and he will kill a Vakar with it. Who knows, maybe even without a knife.
Guy is really vague and illogical sometimes.

Why doesn't Ahern mention that the real danger in taking out Cerberus is political? Harper has likely neutralized the Systems Alliance and the Council at this point. That was always the thing with him even in the games he always seemed to be one step ahead of the rest in fact I half believe even indoctrinated he still paved the way for Shepard to activate the Crucible and save the galaxy.
By the way Mordin is one of the most dangerous STG agents? Is he comparing this to a Shieldbreaker or a normal War Spec?
How good of a team is Shepard's current squad? Is Ahern underestimating Garrus ?

After thinking about it, Ahern left off a rather notable Cerberus member. Joker deserves a nod in his Cerberus review. In the main novel Ahern even considered it more likely to defeat Shepard on the ground than beat Joker and the Normandy in space. Granted, this was before Illium, but it was after the duel with Okeer.

What Dragunov doesn't realise yet is that, not only was Vigil reading this report on Cerberus, he was also generous enough to edit out all of the Ahern ratings included throughout the file. As much as Vigil likely appreciates the fact that Ahern is a reliable source of hilarious memes, it doesn't change the fact that he's a primitive meatbag. When it comes to trolling, Vigil needs his five a day as part of a balanced diet.
