Was wondering when Shirou’s problem would be seen by his new friends, good thing they found out about it early. Now while they may not be able to fix that habit of his they can at least mitigate his more extreme behavior and learn to value himself a bit more. Especially with what he did this chapter. Saji will probably be grateful for the save but will be too prideful to show it. Though Saji will probably be less arrogant towards Shirou and will probably work with the others to fix Shirou’s sense of self worth. Wonder if the reason Shirou wasn’t affected was because of what happened to him when he was younger; or if it is because he is gaining Archer’s memories through the dream cycle; or if it’s because Archer is in his head (unintentionally) imposing a similar mental state as ‘Mind of Steel’ Shirou

Got to say this is really good so far, love the interaction between Shirou and Sella towards the end of the chapter. I agree with you about why Sella would be depressed after what happened. As an Einzbern homunculus she would a bit of pride of being such a high class homunculus and work to best perform the task given to her, failing it must have completely shattered that pride she had on her existence. Thankfully Shirou with his skill, Harem Protagonist EX, he was able to give Sella the comforting words she needed to hear to start moving on from her guilt and return to when Shirou will have the chance to speak with Liz and Iri on how they are holding up.

What's with Shirou always second guesing his actions, he has already experienced a lot of stuff that no human would normally face in a short amount of time yet he acts so clueless that he pisses off Akeno and doesn't immediately apologize to her for his actions. I doubt the bleed effect of 'Archer' being in his subconscious has fully made him that emotionally dead to other people's feelings.

Well, other than that nitpick, I believe the chapter has good development between Tsubaki and Shirou. Well, there's still the other peerage members that need some development alongside his relationship with Rias' peerage, and I guess Sella and Leysritt.

There would have been a easy fix too him not being apart of the perage by having him make a familiar contract with someone in the perage

The opening dialogue has too be shirou looking back on past events in some regard

It doesn't make much sense to combine Fate and DxD magic, they are very different, like magic circuits, demons basically have magic like blood, and things like teleportation are already considered close to true magics
