I just spend the whole day reading this wonderful fiction and I must say I’m disappointed at how few reviews you have! This is a fantastic story and grossly underrated. Well done for writing such an interesting AU story!

I really enjoyed reading this so much that I had to finish this in one night, sacrificing a good night's sleep. But it was well worth it. I'm leaving a review because it's the least I can do as a reader to show my appreciation of your work.

Your style of writing is something to be admired especially with your wide range of vocabulary that I can only hope to grasp (bec im lazy thats what haha). I can tell that each word was chosen carefully and everything formed wonderfully. It was fitting in the timeline of your story, in the drama, and in the heated parts.

However, during the conflict, I wished for more heart-wrenching angst/drama. I found myself a little irked how Rey was understanding of Ben because she loves him. I think, given Rey's character of being alone so she finds it hard to give her trust let alone her heart to someone, she wouldn't been more defensive of herself and that's where Jessa's character enters as the embodiment of that argument but it's a little loose at the end. Her first love is Ben and being betrayed by being lied to is something that requires a bit more depth in terms of emotion. This is the only thing I found which could be given thought to.

Speaking of Jessa, I find myself accepting that she and Rey left things like that in the end. It was realistic. It was a mirror of what happens in real life. I liked that bit. I'm also fond of the subtle elements you threw in here. Feminism and the LGBTQ.

The rest of what I'm going to say is praise over your work and complimenting it. Frankly, I don't have much words because it will all sound repetitive. I really loved your story. It was artistically written. I hope to see more. Thumbs up. And all that haha.

I loved this story. Absolutely loved it. Everything I never knew I needed - but I'm so glad that I found this story. I actually read it last night... stayed up WAY too late to finish it. Hmm that was a really interesting chapter! I'm really curious about what exactly Jessa is worried about in regards to Rey and Ben's relationship. I do think that Ben hasn't necessarily always been the best husband - the way he just accepted how his mother treated Rey and then everything that happened during that visit - and they probably did get married too soon but what does Jessa think will happen? Does she think that Rey was attracted to Ben because he was older, that she wanted a father? Anyway, great job with your story :) I'm really interested in what will happen next :)

I generally don't review the same fic more than once just to praise it, but I think I'll make an exception for this one.

The way in which the story is advancing has me hooked. The rift between Rey and Jessa. The not-quite-resolved unsavory bit with Evelyn. The fragile, but willing, resolution between Ben and Rey. The Reylo baby! The steady story progression and character development. I enjoy how you've approached all of these- even if I feel the need to strangle any one of them at a given moment. It's all good story telling and it's much appreciated.

And I never want to rush the author because you do have a life, but the wait between chapters is maddening sometimes! Help me out a bit?
