| Zoe Alice Latimer chapter 1 . 9/2/2011
Oh, that's kind of cute, in it's no-nonsense-just-propose way.
| Marnie chapter 1 . 11/24/2003
I did like this :) I've always had a soft spot for the Sackville-Bagginses, and Lobelia is a bit of an unsung heroine of the hobbit world. This had everything - the sheer charm of the Shire, and all kinds of foreshadowing of the rather formidable woman Lobelia is going to mature to be.
| Gaslight chapter 1 . 5/26/2003
Aw, that was so cute! Though Lobelia was her brisk and business like self, as usual. She wouldn't be Lobelia if she weren't! :) Liked the inclusion of the parasol, a deadly weapon in her hands...
| shirebound chapter 1 . 2/8/2003
A fascinating vignette. But is Lobelia agreeing to marry Otho because she thinks he'll inherit Bag End and all the dragon treasure someday? Poor Otho...
| Kate Fairbairn chapter 1 . 2/7/2003
Aawww, this is so cute! Just because Bilbo has never liked the S-Bs, it doesn't mean they have to be completely unsympathetic characters. Thanks for being nice to such frequently vilified characters!
| Nenya Kanadka chapter 1 . 2/7/2003
*snuggles* Hobbit romance! And even the Sackville-Bagginses must have been in love once. Great idea for a story!
| San Antonio Rose chapter 1 . 2/7/2003
Hehehe... cute. Very cute. Lobelia and her parasol... foreshadowing of her future obsession with umbrellas? And she's already the strong-willed hobbit lass who will insist on taking over Bag End before her time.
Well done, Eledhwen. Kudos. :)
