OK. Good idea but you could do with some changes to your writing style. A couple of times you didn't make sence or you didn't explain who's POV it was from. You also have a tendancey to post chapters twice, which drives me up the wall. Sorry to be negative but thats the why it is.

Aw,this story was well written and I liked it.A shame I couldn't read it on-I wasn't even registered in 2002 or least I don't think.

Have you read Tamora Pierce's book 'Page'? It has a scene exactly like that, if you change a few words to fit the book. Very good story

Legolas would still be named 'Prince'. Immediate reletives of the hereditary ruler (siblings, children, neices and nephews and grand children) are all given the title prince or princess
