This is very interesting, and I have an idea for your, uh, problem. Galadriel and Celeborn could have married to try to end the strife between the two elf races, a feat which in the end did not work out and the war continued. But just because they're still at war doesn't mean it couldn't have been a failed attempt at peace and Arwen could have grown up with Galadriel and so it would have been suitable for her to marry Elrond, right? I don't know, it's just an idea you can work with.

Though Tolkien didn't give the age when elfves reach majority, my D&D manual puts it at about 100, but the live span is about 700 years. Where as Middle Earth Elves are immortal so I'd guess 10 years.

Yay Gandalf! Now for the Elladan, Elrohir thing. You've made a huge AU so far, so why not take it a step further? Elrond could have married anyone. And if you plan on slash (please!) ever heard of mpreg? In my slash story I had Gil-galad and Elrond as the twins parents, you could always go with Elrond/Glorfindel or somtething. If you don't wanna do slash just put another woman as their mother. thats all I can think of.

Dun da da, SperryDee to the rescue! Celeborn and Galadriel fell in love and got married anyway, (like Romeo and Juliet, but without the double suicide). People were too scared of Galadriel to bug her and Celeborn about it. Like the idea?

Good chapter! And I'm short, too. Well, by my family's standards, anyway.(I'm 5'4" and growing like a weed, while my family on both sides are at least 5'7")

Hello! 'Tis me again. Another great (if short _) chapter.

As far as Elladan and Elrohir...I don't know if this would work, but maybe they could be Elros' sons and chose immortality so were sent to live with Uncle Elrond...'course, that would make them much older than they are in the books and I don't know if they would have been given that choice since Elros chose mortality, but it's already AU so...

Just a friendly suggestion. I'd like to see them show up, too. Keep up the good work!
