when u posted I was actually re-reading the accidentally horcrux again and I had to re-read the entirety so that I could appreciate it fully. this is so flippin sweet I mean it's well written and complex and it hurts to watch Harry go through this but it'd also so well written.

Wow, this chapter is so deep. Can’t imagine all that will change for Harry now. How will he be able to lookout for his friends and be able to make right choices that might help him keep his sanity for the sake of others. Like bringing his friends in to knowing what has changed. That would be the most logical choice he could make. But some how, I don’t think Harry will allow this positive choice to be his. Be a loner now will not work.

I'm really grateful that us readers are able to see a slight continuation of Harry's story, even if it really does end here for the last time. Was there a possible specific ending you had in mind for the way the story was going to end after these chapters?

I really want to re-read this story. I'm just not sure whether that would be wise, with me now knowing how it will end.

Generally speaking, I feel that fanfic summaries tend to be irrelevant. Ok sure, they give an initial idea of what the fic will be like, but I usually quickly forget about the summary and continue reading, and lose nothing for it.

This time, though, I should've remembered your summary. It's there, on the top of the page, warning readers that things are going to be dire for Harry. But with many authors usually writing melodramatic summaries that aren't that relevant to the story after all, I got used to ignoring them, so I got a bit surprised at how badly things ended for Harry and Tom.

Wow, this is absolutely horrible and sickening. I think I'm starting to grow very uncomfortable with themes where Harry becomes the MoD and then pays an horrible price that usually involves an eternity of torment.

Don't get me wrong, this was an amazing read. Congratulations, seriously. After all, stories aren't meant to always comfort the readers - they would become boring, otherwise. But wow, poor Harry. This sucks.

I'm curious - if you had finished writing this story, would Harry somehow manage to escape this very horrible fate? Perhaps not completely, I would not expect a 100% happy ending - but would he be able to make his ending a bit better? Or would he be doomed forever with every price determined by Death, and never speak to Tom again?

Anyway! About your life & career going well - I'm so happy for you. I often hear about fanfiction being a refuge from real life, authors (and readers) suffering from depression, anxiety, career failures, health problems, etcetera, etcetera - It's worrying and depressing. Nice to know that you are well.

If you are going to stop writing fanfiction, it's much better to say bye to you knowing you are fine, instead of having a parting message where your last words in this website indicate you are unwell.

Thank you so much for providing this update. I don't think authors can truly appreciate how much enjoyment their writing gives their audience, and when it stops prematurely there's a real sense of grief. Even a brief "this is how it would end" would have been enough, but these bonus chapters have been brilliant.

The main plot point I wanted to know about was Tom and would be ever become corporal? Would he have any feelings for Harry or would he be as evil and power hungry as the master soul. Devastated with the apparent ending here, and it's certainly not something I saw coming! Thanks again for sharing.

I am blown away by these chapters. Amazing stuff. I've started up way past when I'd intended to go to sleep, because I just had to finish them. I really want to know where you wanted to take this... Any chance of a final wrap-up chapter in the future? (Or ideally a completion of the story, but I'm aware that's a lot to ask for and you probably don't want to, so I'm not going to press on that one.)

Like I said before and I’ll say it again - I love this story. Possibly one of the best written ones on this site, and it’s worth every second. Characters actually feel like people in this, the wanted corruption between Harry and Tom was done in possibly the best way I’ve seen, loved how you broke down Harry as much as possible while still retaining his sort of childish side.

Everything about this story was well done, and I’d be happy to send this off with a drink and a salute.
