![]() ![]() ![]() This entire thing was great. Thank you for your writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I had been having a terrible day until 8 emails dropped in my inbox saying U UPDATED HOLY SHIT YESS WHAT? |
![]() ![]() ![]() What an incredible and heart wrenching ending to this amazing work of art. Props to you for this. Sad to see it end but this is a great end in all honesty. Voldemort was never the focus of this novel anyways. It was always Harry and Tom. |

![]() ![]() Don’t worry about it, we all have our reasons and demons |

![]() ![]() ![]() Just gutted that you're planning to end the story here. I've been following all the way from near the beginning of Accidental Horcrux (even though I haven't left a single review), and every time you update after a minor hiatus, it's just a breath of fresh air that breaks the staleness of my routine, every-day, problem-riddled life. I've always been of the opinion that the harry potter fanfiction world and JKR's original creation have a huge divide. We may just play around in her sandbox yes, but some of the sandcastles the authors on this site have built are far grander than anything she could have ever imagined. You should know that one of those huge, awe inspiring castles belong to you. Her political views have no bearing on the universe she's created and the opinion of a single person should not affect you so deeply. At the very least, the idea of fanfiction as your outlet shouldn't have to stop, even though you may have many other (probably better) means of dealing. I'm also mildly encouraged by the fact that you quitting hpff is more emotional than rational. Emotions fade, time heals, wounds scar and all that crap... I've been trawling this site for a long time now and I've been wonderfully surprised by more than a few fics that started updating after apparently being abandoned for years. Here's hoping you'll join that list. Ciao |
![]() ![]() I just finished reading your fic and i loveed it thanks for writing it xxxx |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's alright that you can't continue. She's crossed a lot of lines and I understand how that would taint the work for you. I hope you're OK and that you find something that you can love as much as you loved this. You're a great writer and this series was a joy to read. Ty for sharing what you did. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So this was one of my favorite stories in the HP fandom, though I'd long ago resigned myself to not knowing the end, there's undoubtedly and unmistakably some sadness and disappointment at getting it black on white. However, in your circumstances I absolutely cannot blame you. It must be deeply traumatizing in some ways, and I would never begrudge anyone to leave such a situation. Additionally, this is your story, that you've generously volunteered to share with the fandom, and you are by no means obliged in any way shape or form to continue doing so. I myself won't be leaving the fandom, too many good memories. Rather, I increasingly want to create a divorce, between the author and the universe. Because Harry Potter is so much more than just the brainchild and playground of a person, who in other regards is a good person, who holds such contemptible views. TLDR: Bit sadness, I understand why, and I won't resent you for it, at least not anything lasting longer than an hour. And I'll be seeking to reform the fandom. Best regards, and thank you for sharing this wonderful story with the fandom. Wiwerse |
![]() ![]() I've enjoyed your writing very much, it's intricate and engages the reader. I will try to log in and message you from my fanfic account when I remember to do so :) - I'm interested in your original novel work due to this fic being so good, and would like to read more. Personally, I can manage to disconnect the fiction from the author, but I also understand that since Rowling is not supporting you by her views on transgender people, this affects you a lot emotionally. And I am myself not personally affected by her public thoughts on transgender, but I do have one friend who is transgender, and I think she's a very sensible, kind person - just like any other human. And I beleive it's everyone's right to be equally accepted and judged by their character and skills, not their gender identity... So yeah, all I can say to summarize is that I wish you the best of luck, sad to see you leave this excellent story unfinished, but understand your reasons even if I don't think I would act the same way. Thank you for entertaining and engaging us, a reader. |
![]() ![]() Please ignore the hateful comments you are getting here about who you are as a person and your deeply personal decisions to stop writing fanfiction! While I am saddened to hear this story has ended for you (and me!) - I understand. I enjoyed your work on a level I was not expecting! Your "exit chapter" mentioned you have started writing original fiction. I haven't had a chance to check out your profile again yet (my next step!) and I would understand if you haven't/don't plan on linking any of your work in your profile so as to avoid more internet hate but how can I (legally - like buy your book to support you) find your original work? I am incredibly interested in reading it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Why did I even read this? I feel like I've wasted so much of my time. The fact that this fic is such a breath of fresh air in an otherwise rather stale fandom, as well as rather well-written, makes it even more difficult to deal with. |
