I was really into this until all of a sudden the tension in the story resolved. I would have liked to see them go through more together and for this to be a longer story, but thanks anyway for sharing what you wrote

It doesn't look like her family really tried to offend her. They genuinely think that she should make an effort to be like everyone else. Unfortunately, that happens quite often.
