![]() ![]() I wonder who the wizard a century ago was. |
![]() ![]() I can’t even tell if it’s actually Moody or Crouch because they’d both probably find the quartet hilarious. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "and some bitch named Maggie" I almost wasn't going to comment but this threw me for a loop. *snort* DAMN YOU, THATCHER! Also pretty sure Sal fought during Falklands War. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Obtuse. I don't think that word means what you think means |
![]() ![]() ![]() Huh... Just when I thought you had written yourself into a corner, you announce a sequel. Let's see if you follow thru... Loved the tale of paranoia and violence, looking forward to more of the same! |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is the fastest way to get rid of prostate cancer hifu treatment back in gym in a week |
![]() ![]() ![]() The 2nd amendment doesn't mean what you think it does. It is not a right for everyone to carry guns, it tries to unilaterally establish the right for a national militia, at a time when the British were REALLY "eager" for any colonies or former colonies to very much NOT have anything like it. It's also part of what was supposed to establish how the USA was never meant to have a standing army. To avoid becoming a colonial power or interfering in other nations itself. Oops, guess that didn't last long did it? There's also a pretty darn good argument about how the 2nd is actually referring to non-personal weapons, heavy weapons like cannons, because when it was written, having a handgun or personal longarm was both fairlly normal and common and absolutely noone was trying to prevent it, which means the 2nd would be 100% irrelevant when it was written, which really would be ridiculous. Funny how everyone reads the US constitution how it is convenient or preferable for them rather than how it was written. Never mind completely ignoring historical context. 2nd amendment is ONE text, not multiple that you can split up as you want. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved this start to finish |
![]() ![]() ![]() I laughed... Am laughing... Am dying... Am dead. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter was... something to say the least! Honestly Charlie's rant has to be one of my favorite things I've read in fanfics. |

![]() ![]() ![]() I don’t drink but I will take a Tylenol for the headache I got reading this chapter because I got the title confused with another fic. Lol. I’ll read the entire thing soon and get unconfused. Well, about this fic anyway. I’m perpetually confused most days. Thank you for your military service. All of my paternal grandfathers served in some way since the American Revolution. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ah, the lesson you only see in the stories from ex military. the "don't die for me, kill for me " |
![]() ![]() ![]() I kind of love it... Except for the overlong author's notes... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well that was entertaining! To be honest - towards the end I was reading more for your blog entries with the HP story as a bit of an aside I did enjoy the story but it was really great to read the experiences and opnions of a gun appreciating non-loony. In Australia the information on the mainstream media wrt to America is mostly devoted to showing idiots and extremists of one kind or another so it's nice to remember that really, most Americans are real people too! Thanks! |
