I really like the way you're formatting this. It keeps the story moving at a good pace and adds a nice amount of backstory and personality. I do hope you haven't stopped writing and that if you continue to keep up the good work! I really enjoyed reading what you have so far.

Hahaha, with the Quicy arc my sister and I have still not figured if Kyôraku likes Nanao or if she's his daughter! The author is just SO NOT clear!

I really enjoy your story so far. You have a knack for writing imagery instead of description. Not something that is easy to learn. Your OC is interesting, but make sure to keep her out of the Mary Sue range. I think jumping around a little bit would actually work well with your writing style. Instead of doing short flashbacks within a chapter you could make a flashback an entire chapter. I think it would suit this story well. However, I will warn you are better off including Shinji and the rest of the Vizards because based on the characters you selected that's what people will expect there to be. I wouldn't mind having soem more Shinji experts too. You have a very interesting take on him.
