Reviews for A Dramatic Reading
Prince Pondincherry chapter 14 . 6/5/2017
It occurs to me that it would be really interesting to see what Ron would do if Harry and Hermione got arrested in this sort of situation. Would he be in charge of the DA at that point?
I'm a bit surprised that Fudge didn't send for more Aurors at the end of this chapter, but maybe he's worried about reigniting the insurrection. And I love Kingsley's dry-witted explanation of how they're outnumbered.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 11 . 6/5/2017
This story is great. By far the best of its kind I've ever read, but also pretty good on its own merits. You've done a great job of making the ridiculous premise seem plausible within the rules of the world, I loved how Sirius, Remus, and Molly got Harry to use the mirror, and the Order members working together with the Trio and the twins in this chapter was great.
And nice wham line at the end there.
Laura chapter 18 . 6/2/2017
I just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed this. I'm not new to fanfiction but I haven't read much HP fanfiction, so I've never read one of the commentary-style stories you speak of, but I liked yours anyway. It was probably the perfect length too, even though I generally like longer stories. So thanks!

Corwyn chapter 18 . 5/14/2017
I loved this story, and you're right, the characters-read-the-books genre generally sucks. Thank you for both sharing this with us, and avoiding the usual pitfalls that plague the genre.
PineNutPesto chapter 17 . 5/15/2017
It's true, what you said about most of these characters-read-their-stories types are juvenile, unprofessional and contrived. Your story was none of those things. The characters were amazingly true to their book selves, and while the plot was a tad contrived, at least there was a rigorous in-universe logic to it all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it-far more, in fact, than I did reading the actual Philosopher's Stone, because your characters picked at every inconsistency I could have hoped for, and reacted in realistic, rational ways. Thanks so much for writing this. :)
Guest chapter 11 . 5/3/2017
tom riddle sits down at a typewriter in the afterlife. "you know what would piss dumbledore off more than anything?" he asks the typewriter rhetorically. "the bit of me that was stuck in harry potter, becoming rita skeeter for a day." he begins typing.
