Raven3182 chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 Cliffhanger indeed! I look forward to more. Thanks for writing! |
Octanek chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 You are SUCH a tease! You can't just upload two chapters and end it at the best bit, should have made a longer chapter and finished the Voldemort encounter at least! :P |
slytherinsal chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 so many questions need asking ... |
DarkPirateKing69 chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 I wonder if the next chapter is all about Umbridge/Fudge trying to deny everything.. I mean, if she suddenly starts saying how the book is lying, then the truthfulness of everything else mentioned up to that point could be questioned. That's how it works even in real life courts right? Well, just gotta wait and see how you handle it. You haven't disappointed so far and i doubt it suddenly starts now. Keep up the good work and thx for the effort! |
Brian1972 chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 Hmm, some of the stuff Dumbledore and the teachers are accused of are rather novel concepts. It is not out of the question that the magical side developed similary or maybe even had several concepts more developed than the muggle side to begin with. But many hint in canon imply that they have a rather medivial view point on children rights (Neville's treatment, Filch going on about haveing even witnessed the old punishments, basically everything Umbridge does without anyone batting an eye, and so on). So concepts like child abuse should likle be alien to them. If at all it would be whoever is the primary caregiver of a child who is hurt in their rights not the child itself (since those would be considered part of the household). Also abstract concepts like negligence are very recent and new (at least when it comes to family law). Also when they ask why the defenses with the exception of the mirror where so lackluster and ask whether it wasn'T very easy to steal the stone before the mirror was installed. Why don't they ask the obvious follow up question: Was the stone even in the last room before the mirror was installed? Also someone in the know might write down the question, if the mirror was more than just a defense. It is dangerous (as mentioned before) and given how easy the other traps were Dumbledore might just have planed for whoever goes after the stone to get in front of it. |
Foxy-Floof chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 I'm thinking compulsion and confundus charms to keep the teachers complacent and toddling along in their comfortable routines, while the Chessmaster played his games with the lives of others. Damn Dumbledore. |
kgfinkel chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 I'm really loving this story but I do wish the chapters were longer. If they were long enough that it took an hour for an average reader, that would be great. |
Kairan1979 chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 It's about time somebody agreed that the protections were flimsy and Dumbledore oblivously wasn't trying to hard to stop the thief. |
troyguffey chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 "Our main weapon is surprise. And fear. Our TWO main weapons are..." |
Siggimondo chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 A cliffhanger. Because of course you would. Just as I was about to reach the climax. |
ragsweas chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 I WANT THE NEXT CHAPTER!THE CLIFF HANGER...NOOOO! |
arlene56 chapter 16 . 4/2/2017 Cliffhanger indeed. Too bad for Snape, having to read the last chapter. I think Voldemort's name is used quite a lot. I like that you point out that McGonagall made herself unapproachable. I feel like problems in the future could have been avoided if Harry thought he could trust her. I go back and forth thinking that Dumbledore designed that obstacle course for Harry, and I'm glad you're exploring that. I can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks for updating! |
morring star chapter 16 . 4/1/2017 Can't wait for more please update soon. |
SmoulderS chapter 16 . 4/1/2017 No matter what he does, Harry can never be paranoid enough. Because nearly everyone is out to get him. |
