Reviews for A Dramatic Reading |

excessivelyperky chapter 10 . 8/6/2020 Yup, Flitwick summed things up perfectly, typical Gryffindor madness. Even Minerva agrees! |
excessivelyperky chapter 9 . 8/3/2020 Snape should be taking notes, too, Draco shouldn't have been able to leave Slytherin without triggering some kind of alarm. I expect that some of the wards around Slytherin are going to get updated real soon now. Hermione has a good question about no Age Line. And Fluffy. Seriously, in a school full of children? But of course it's good when Gryffindor breaks the rules, and when both the Headmaster and the Deputy are from that House, the phrase 'conflict of interest' comes to mind. |
A Random Earthian chapter 17 . 8/3/2020 This is a really good story! |
excessivelyperky chapter 8 . 8/2/2020 If Minerva fires Snape, he'll be out dancing in the parking lot in a half hour, everything already packed. And I think she knows it, so she'll just grumble at him, he'll mention how she broke all the rules and risked Harry's life to win the Quidditch Cup, and they'll probably call it good at that. Hermione has a lot of good questions, too. What a pity she probably won't get any answers. |
excessivelyperky chapter 7 . 7/29/2020 Ah, so many secrets are revealed. I do hope Minerva apologizes when it turns out Snape was protecting Harry all along. But she won't. |
excessivelyperky chapter 6 . 7/29/2020 Goodbye, Binns! Still, they're going to have to pay the next History professor. Good summary and reactions to the next chapter of the reading. Note that Minerva didn't notice how bad Ron's wand was, but then, as Gryffindor Head of House she makes a good synchronized swimmer. |
Saskya chapter 17 . 7/21/2020 Amazing story |
MonsterMaster chapter 13 . 7/23/2020 Great chapter ! |
Guest chapter 18 . 7/19/2020 Thanks for sharing |
Guest chapter 10 . 7/19/2020 This really is fun. |
Guest chapter 2 . 7/19/2020 This is quite good. |
excessivelyperky chapter 5 . 7/19/2020 Well, at least Harry was allowed to have friends at Hogwarts, while Snape was persecuted and nearly murdered for having just one. And I have always thought that Dumbledore cut down Harry's time at the Dursleys the summer after Sirius' death because Snape saw what was going on during the Occlumency lessons (funny how Harry only needed two weeks there once people other than Dumbledore knew the Dursleys were abusive, amazing how they found out, right?). But I don't mind Snape making plans. We all know what Dumbledore's plans for Snape were, don't we, and how well they worked to keep Harry alive and Snape dying in agony. It might be a very good idea if Snape could get a copy of books six and seven really soon now. Why isn't Harry asking Minerva why he had to spend all of each year at the Dursleys before Hogwarts? If he only needs two weeks (per Albus in Half-Blood Prince), why did he have to be abused by them year round? You have to wonder if Harry is the only abused kid at Hogwarts, and why nobody seems to even consider the possibility that there are more. Great move by Sirius with the mirror, though. It will probably end up saving his life. |
excessivelyperky chapter 4 . 7/18/2020 Of course it's humorous when something bad happens to a Muggle (although Hermione may see things somewhat differently). And I'm really sure that Hermione isn't the only one with questions about how Harry has been treated. (but of course it was perfectly all right for Snape to be treated the way he was...because he exists). |
excessivelyperky chapter 3 . 7/18/2020 I wonder if the school will be as amused as we all were about Dudley's being turned into a pig? After all, Hagrid had no idea who Dudley was except he was a Muggle. But I can see the school falling over in laughter over it. |
excessivelyperky chapter 2 . 7/17/2020 Actually, if vulnerable magical children receive visits, then why didn't Snape have anyone on his side when he was a kid? (I know, magical institutions only exist to help Harry, but never Snape, I get it). Also, nobody checked on Neville when Cousin Algie was trying to kill him. But at this point I think Minerva is ready to skewer Albus herself. |
