Because as much as she has high chances of being discriminated, potentially killed or worse, she still has chances to go to a country where she's safe, to find people that would accept her as she is... Whereas Ruby, well, can't. Because the threat of Grimms is international. And everyone fears Grimm. No one, no matter their ethnicity, their race or other, would ever accept her at firsy sight, especially when her eyes cause such an effect of intense fear. So honestly, as rude as it might be, Blake is far better ofd than Ruby.
