This chapter was so good! Finally, Violet started to understand her mistake as a mum. Well, she's a bit late for some stuff like lullabies but I hope they can sort things out between them. Mycroft didn't deserve "that" speech and I'm still angry how everybody treated him in The Final Problem.

I enjoyed the reminder of the sadness of many lullabies reflects the sadness of life and how she made his life that way without meaning to. It is easy to imagine not apologizing just to be able to re-do some of the mistakes of the past. And not quickly answered either. I like that.

Great Great Story! After S04E03, especially after their mother said that Mycroft was limited which makes me feel that Mycroft's own feelings was neglected because he's always acting very strong and he actually deserves better. Even the British Government himself is a human in the end, he did too much for his always-cannot-stay-out-of-trouble little brother, for pleasing his parents, for the safety of the Great Britain, however his parents thought he was a cold blood monster who kept the truth from them, good news is we saw Sherlock started to know the struggle and agony of his elder brother. I am so glad that in your work Mycroft's efforts and dedictation will be recognized and valued by the people he mostly cared, though he insisit caring is not an advantage. So please keep working on this! Absolutely fantastic job, thanks for your efforts:-) p.s. personally hope more scene with lovely Anthea, as Mycroft's PA, surely she will witness his boss's suffer, hope she can offer a help hand to turn Mycroft back:-P

Unfortunately, I can 'relate' to the Holmes family - I had a younger sibling with 'problems', when you are younger yourself - you can't help but point this out - to no avail. Then when you are older, you try to 'cope' by letting them and yourself 'alone'. And finally, after our parents are gone - things come to an unwelcome, but not unexpected conclusion. You do wonder if something could have been different - but not really - human beings are 'human' . . .

Wow, this is good. Your story isn't a fluffy thing, I really like it. Sherlock is being a very good brother and I'm proud of him. He's doing the right thing and I'm sure he'll defend his brother against their parents. After Eurus, Sherlock had Mycroft but Mycroft had no one. Now Sherlock will be there for him and I'm not just talking about "growing up again".
I'm imagining a little boy with a very Mycroftian seriousness and it amuses me. It's very cute indeed.
